If he's upset about a girl, then this probably isn't the best place for him. It will seem too extreme or however you want to say it. That's how I saw it at least, I'm 18 and only a new member but it does take a good second to become used to the ideas and mentalities behind this sub. That's the good thing though, is it's transformative. I would maybe wait it out and see how he feels

Being upset about the girl is the first step. The common next step is thinking this is an individual case, so dudes tend to repeat the cycle with the next girl and the next and the next.

It's thanks to the internet men can collectively learn from others' mistakes. If he doesn't have his head up his ass, he should be ok coming here willing to learn.

I would say that the biggest red pill a man can take, comes from women. Be there to keep him from drowning in his blue pill thirst but don't try anything to actively give him that red pill.

I would say an off hand comment here and there would help speed it along but that's heavily dependent on the circumstances. Tell me, what's it look like?

He's a 17 year old average guy but for the last few months other friends have been ignoring him and this girl is planning him like a fiddle it's like he can't comprehend the idea of being happy without her

No, just drop red pills here and there but keep it light and dont go to extreme. Keep MGTOW to yourself for awhile. If he needs a good laugh show him some terrence popp on youtube. That's a good way to break someone in and have a laugh. But prior to that maybe just kinda say things like...yeah women suck, chase dreams not women. If you chase the women, you will always be broke. But if you chase the money/dreams? you'll always have the women. Just have fun with it i guess. Maybe mention how your trying to work overtime and save up for a trip to vietnam or one of those southeast asian islands where massages with happy endings are like 10 bucks and the women treat you like a king but you wouldn't be able to afford it if you had a girlfriend. It's not what you tell him, it's how you share it with him. Best way to indoctrinate or propagate? Slowly and subtley.

He's not ready, any amount of teaching will be seen as a slap in his face. He has to come to the realization on his own terms.

Mention our philosophy, comment on how much it's helped you and others and then let him find his own way.
