Honestly, it's a bar job. Shits not that hard or stressful. She took the time to count lids, write that shit down and just make sure next time it's there.. build a checklist and just do it. She complains, but it might hurt the company, then you negotiate. (Even though that's not your place). Say, that's a good idea to charge the dollar per cup. Because nobody will agree with someone that disagrees with them. Then you tell her your opinion.

So, that's a great idea to charge per cup because it would raise our bottom line. Do you think that lowers the value of the membership though? I was thinking about it and I just wanted your opinion. Do you think it might anger some customers or just go over their head?

It's not just women who are evil bosses, just more annoying. Start a business part time when your off work and get out of that situation. Use it as fire for success

Hypothetically, you could also send her manager an anonymous letter telling him to fire her or his wife will get proof of his infidelity ...

Smile in her face. Smile like you got dirt on her and she has no idea. The more she messes with you the more you smile. You do your job to the best of your ability and just keep smiling.

Meanwhile, record everything. Not necessarily with an actual recorder if you think that might get you in trouble but email yourself everything she does you think is worth mentioning. Email it so there is a timestamp.

Also, you could try a bit of malicious compliance. Do what she asks as long as it is within the pervue of your position but nothing outside of it. Especially if what she is asking you to do could risk your job. If you have to/want to, get one of your bosses to put your tasks and responsibilities in writing, if it isn't already. Then, you can reference that list whenever she asks you do something outside it, either to her face or in the email records depending on how confrontational you want to be.

If you can smile through her constant bullshit you will either cause her to back off because she isn't getting the manipulative joy she wants (unlikely outcome) or she will start to escalate to get the power trip/manipulation rush she once did. As she escalates continue to record and collect as much evidence of her bullshittery as you can and eventually you will have enough to take to your bosses or over their heads if you think it is necessary. Possibly to the police, some people can go from annoying to violent real quick when things aren't going how they want and they don't know why. So, keep on your toes.

Seriously, you would be surprised how easy it is to manipulate someone that is trying to mess with/manipulate you. They watch you more than you might think and if you learn to time a smile, smirk, or chuckle when they think you don't know they are watching you can drive them batshit crazy. Once you realize that how good their day is relies on you that "I win!" smile will come real easy.

People that act like this already have a weak ego/pride. It is the main reason they act this way. If you can make them doubt that they still have control they will actually lose control.

Meanwhile, you will be a model employee taking care of guests to the best of your ability and she will be slowly losing her mind trying to regain control over you.
