I'm below 20 and currently enrolled in a community college and trying to get my academics out of the way. My goal in life is to just lead a privately successful life.

Before I was mgtow, I was planning to get into marketing or business and work in the video game industry, but given how degrees nowadays don't really mean much and how much money hungry and sjw influence has become in the industry; I lost my motivation to really try. I mself also say I want to work in the videogame industry, but that sounds too vague and it's more of "I just want to play games".

Right now I'm trying to think of a plan for myself but I feel like I'm going nowhere. It also doesn't help that my mother wants me to do well in school and while I understand her situation and she is trying to support me, it comes off as a burden instead.

I've looked into trade schools and they look like a solid option considering they pay well and I can be left alone in it; but that would require to give up some college time to do so and I'm not how that would sit well with my family.

TL:DR: I'm sorry if this sounds pathetic, but I hope I can get some advice from you older, more experienced dudes. I'm trying to come up and think of my own plan for myself without any family or female influence, but I'm struggling to thinking what I can and should do to live a relatively successful life. I guess I haven't totally broke free from the system considering I currently feel like I'm failing in life and am still worried about how my family thinks.
