Newly divorced, just turned 30. I had uprooted my life to move for my wife’s PhD program, which she then quit about 6 months after we moved (after 120k debt). Ended up having to divorce and file chapter 7, but I didn’t get saddled with any of her student debt which is nice (no kids, dodged a bullet there). I work at a university, which is paying for me to get a degree in nutrition as part of a work skill diversification. I honestly just feel like I’ve lost my way and have no career direction. I’m so tired of working jobs instead of a career that is fulfilling with decent pay. I figured I’d stay to finish up my degree so I can at least say I did that, but no clue where to go from here.
