Whole incident took place few days ago. It is almost like a story from r/thathappened but I don't care if you gonna believe me or not.. I'm gonna share it anyway.

I work in a in downtown building that has a small sandwich shop on the first floor. I usually bring my own lunch but that particular day I was there in that shop waiting for my order.

Middle aged woman approached me and put a small piece of paper in my face saying:

  • Can you read it for me I forgot my glasses?

I read it for her it was a name and address of company that is renting 3rd floor of my building.

She then made a 180 turn without saying anything and just walked off to the elevator.

What happened to "please" and "thank you"? Well normally I would dismiss the whole situation just like she dismissed me but... that 3rd floor company is a startup owned by a dude I know.

So I grabbed my sandwich and went to 3rd floor to say "hi" to him. She didn't get the job.
