Semen does contain a small amount of testosterone, but the hormone is produced by the interstitial cells, which are separate from the seminiferous tubules. Removal of both testicles (bilateral orchidectomy) would cause your body to stop producing most of its testosterone, but the vasectomy will not.

24 here. Had a vasectomy a few months ago. Still the same. Do it. Best investment ever.

I also had a vasectomy. Sex drive is the same. Load size is the same. No pains (except right after the surgery).

I'm not a full on doctor but I believe it comes from your testosterone levels. A vasectomy would not decrease those. Don't get a vasectomy without really, really, really thinking it through. Then wait 6 months and if you still want to, snip away.
