I "spam" my resume to positions that attract me. If the HR girl calling me says first interview must be in person with a woman HR, I say that I need to check my schedule and never callback again. I'm fine if it goes on by phone, though. If I discover that there is a woman in the team, I don't do it either.

I'm not trying to make a statement with this, even less change anything. This is about pursuit of happiness. It obviously doesn't makes me invulnerable to corporate idiocracy. But it reduced a whole lot. I reached a point that I prefer to look for the "perfect" job position, instead of jumping in the first best payment offered. I have other incomes and savings for the rest of the year, so I'm in no rush to find anything. I left my last job 4 months ago, and it is all peace and quiet in my life so far.

I have very low tolerance to bullshit and arrogance. I would have to write a whole wall of text just about the cancer that human resources is today, so I won't elaborate on that. If I'm interviewed first by male managers and techical people, I have zero struggle to get a job. If the interview with human resources is the last one in the process, I could say that I hear voices, that like to dissecate and I'm utterly insane, because that won't matter. The people that will actually work me knows what I can and have zero fucks to give to HR potheads. It already happened many times.

So far, so good. It is amazing how different the entire process is when there is no woman involved. People are much more straightforward, to the point, down to earth, much, much more respectful. If I was in need for a salary, I could be already working in a not so bad place. But I'm enjoying waking up whenever I want for now, so I will wait a bit more for something that I think is right.

Take in consideration that by "good" I consider what it is possible in a corporate environment. Idiocracy runs rampant in these places, but that would be another topic of discussion.
