This may not seem like much to some of you, but I feel proud of myself, because I finally stopped sucking the ever drying teat of online dating.

I'm a young guy, only 23, yet I'm already becoming sick of the modern dating game. I've found that I have been putting in far too much work for little return. Just the other month I had been seeing this girl for about a month and a half, never reakky committing to her. She was boring and unambitious with no real prospects or goals, yet wanted me to commit. She brought nothing to the table, and expected my personality to make up for her lack thereof.

Then just a month or so ago, I went on two dates with a girl. I did all the leg work for planning and coordinating. Realized I was doing all the work, and just stopped talking to her, and lo and behold, never heard back from her once I put the ball in her court.

This is the folly of modern dating, which has only become amplified by online dating apps. The women don't need to be interesting or try to stand out because they know they have an unlimited backlog of thirsty beta orbiters in their messages, even though they're just going to string them along for attention while they go jump on Chad's cock for the fifth time this week.

The endless praise and attention given to these - at best - 5/10 women by the horde of sexually frustrated simps has artificially inflated their value.

I've come to realize I don't need to prove myself to these entitled people. Online dating always seemed like a never ending game of cat and mouse, where I was chasing these women who led me on, always asking for a little more. In the end, all I did was contribute to their false sense of inflated value, and I feel like a fool.

I am swearing off online dating for good. It made me no better than the simps I make fun of. It is damaging to the psyche of men and women, and causes nothing but problems for everyone. From now on, I won't put so much energy toward finding a girlfriend. It's a waste of time and money. My personal betterment now takes priority over any other person. I feel liberated.
