Live PD is basically A&E's saving grace. Without them the station is in trouble. Not to mention it films and records everything possible, which is what I thought people wanted.

You know it’s funny because COPS and LivePD are actually the shows prisoners always pick to watch in prison. They love these shows. Including me ! I’ve been a fan of COPS since elementary school. Nothing is better than the days Id be watching cops on my magnavox crt tv on nice afternoon.

COPS cancelled. Live PD is on thin ice.

I'm personally conflicted about this topic. We've all done stupid things. I wouldn't want a TV show to capture the moment of my stupidity, live and then end up unemployed, shamed because of said stupidity.

But, as OP pointed out, I don't watch it, because I don't want to. I never complained, just moved on.

I do think TV needs to stop glorifying cops, lawyers, and doctors, because every damn one of those shows is straight up lies, propaganda, or just people on their absolute best behavior, to pretty much hide how the reality is.

as far as i'm concerned it's just like any other reality tv show, and all reality tv is trash.

no tears being shed here.

if i want to lose a few IQ points on television, there are plenty of stupid comedy shows out there that i still haven't seen.

I think they should do away with all police departments. See how long they last without those racist thugs. Probably not long.
