I agree but also disagree with what you're saying. Prenups can and have been overturned in courts. You just need a judge to say the prenup is unfair and find some reason to set it aside. Believe me, it has happened. Trust funds is the way to go. Because, as much as you hope, inheritance properties are absolutely marital properties, if they are used by the spouses throughout the marriage. If you buy a property, that is used as a matrimonial house, even if you bought it, it will be considered a di…

That lad had the right idea, because his mom's bank account = kind of a trust fund. And there's nothing wrong with hiding your $$$ from the people you marry. You never know.
/r/MensRights06/10/23 08:18 PM
3

Well, you say that because you haven't met the 'right one'. I'm with you, but when people meet the 'right one', they completely lose their focus. So, I empathize with them. If you want to get married, my point is, get all of your assets into a trust fund, so if the marriage fails, you won't be on the hook. Sounds pretty simple, doesn't it?

Very well said. Thank you. +1

Fair enough. Just adding that if you have a trust fund, you're likely not to have a mortgage. And even if there were one, the mortgage would belong to the trust fund and payments would be coming out of it, and not paid by the beneficiary. I think there's rules against a beneficiary paying off the mortgage belonging to a trust fund.
/r/MensRights06/10/23 05:09 PM
13

Correct, you can't be the beneficiary of your own trust. That's why you need someone close to you to be the trustee. Incorrect on the 10-year look back for bankruptcy. The regular period is 1 year (or 2 depending the US state). The 10-year look back is an exception in situations involving fraudulent activities. Source. The analysis stands. Nice try, though.

Wow, you're right, that's even worse, much worse. Unbelievable.
/r/MensRights06/10/23 01:36 PM
31

Exactly. Which is why prenups are such a thing of the past and why trust funds are becoming so popular. Insofar as the Canada example you mentioned, if you're referring to the guy who had an on/off 7-year relationship but still had to pay retroactive child support for children that are not his, then that's another thread of mine, LOL.
/r/MensRights06/10/23 01:21 PM

Interesting to see if this will actually happen. Not sure, how. It would be the equivalent of two people divorcing and the court ordering the man's acquaintance from college to pay for the ex's spousal/child support payments. It would not make any sense. And given how many wealthy people would be affected, I would not hold my breath they'll change the rules anytime soon. But, never say never, I suppose.
/r/MensRights06/10/23 01:17 PM

I don't know how much you know about this area, but a lot of wealthy people operate this way. Prenups are a thing of the past. Effectively, they have 'alienated' all of their possessions and put them into a trust fund. The executor of the trust fund is typically someone they trust (pun intended), like their parents, grandparents, etc. They are 'mere' beneficiary of the trusts. So, if they get sued for anything, and I mean anything, they typically declare bankruptcy and that's that. Because they …

Yes, with a caveat. In some jurisdictions (i.e. Canada), courts will bend backwards to find a way to nullify the prenup. Prenups are actually challengeable in a court of law. On the other hand, trust funds are separate legal entities, not some contract that can be challenged in court. HUGE difference.

I'm not contesting this view. It's probably true. Yet, you'd be hard-pressed to find on reddit the same/similar comment, if the roles were reversed.

No worries. I'm glad I could have been of some limited assistance. It's also good to see you deleted the post. I amended my original reply to remove any details that might single you out (i.e. I removed the # of charges). Some food for thought. Some time ago, this guy reached out to redditors on another sub regarding his wife. She apparently left him without saying anything. They had one or two children. After a day of missing, he reached out to his wife's parents, who told him they were aware s…

Well, you do have two lawyers (a crim and a fam), so that's a step in the right direction. Listen to what they have to tell you. If you're not sure of the advice they give, seek a second opinion through the Law Society's referral guide (found on their site, it is a free service). You should refrain from giving anymore details on Reddit, as you don't know who knowns your reddit account and if they're monitoring your activities. If nobody knows about it, then proceed here, but with great caution. …

Great analysis. So, I guess the guy's still not out of the woods yet, much like your brother. Sorry to hear, btw.

That's politely saying it. You're in an on/off relationship for 7 years and that is the basis for ordering you to pay almost half a million in child-support payments? What. the. fuck? At least he got $750k from her, so there's that, I guess.

Oh, she tried to argue that it was not co-owned, but it didn't pass the muster test.
/r/MensRights03/10/23 10:17 AM
44

Correct. Not only are they not his, it doesn't look like he had much or any involvement in their rearing, except to help pay for some of the kids' private school tuition (but didn't pay all of it, just helped pay some of it) and bring them along when he took her on vacation, over parts of that 7-year relationship - to be clear the relationship didn't last 7 years, it was on/off over 7 years. That's it. That's all it took to make him pay approx. $445k in child support.

I'm not sure how it works in the UK, but in the US, the defendant has a right to sue the state for damages in a civil court, if he's proven innocent and can show malicious prosecution. Especially since he's saying he's lost business because of this nightmare.

I'm all for men's rights, but when I read that story, I was shaking my head at the guy. You mean to tell me you're making $95 million, and out of all women out there, you had to find the one person that was providing sexual harassment training and decided, yeah, that would be a good idea to do phone sex with? I mean, wtf? With that type of $$$, he could have literally hired anybody else privately, to talk dirty to him on the phone. Like, this is not difficult. And it doesn't matter, now. Even if…

A lot of ignorant posts on Reddit, regarding their (Kunis/Kutcher) letters of support. They are being demonized for providing these after Masterson was found guilty and the outraged masses are like --- how dare they? The dumbasses don't understand how the legal system works in the US. Letters of support are provided AFTER the accused has been found guilty but BEFORE he has been sentenced. The idea being that with the assistance of these letters of support, the recently guilty party may get a len…

Your wife is not a feminist. What she believes in, is no longer considered feminism. Feminism nowadays is the male toxic equivalent of yesteryears when men were completely assholes towards women.

+1. I agree. At the same time, there seems to be a growing number of socially deranged men and women. I wonder if social media sites like reddit, X (lol, twitter), etc. are responsible for this. Some subs here, like the one about relationship advice, I've seen enough threads of people asking for advice whether to break up with their bf or divorce, and crazy enough, they update by saying they followed through. Whether they did so in real life, no one knows for sure.

Nope. It just seems so. Probably because of the southern US states, where some religious cults promote young people to be married -- but they are not a reflection of the common US person, not by a long shot. Also, UK is in a kind of weird situation, right now. On the one hand, you have the "old-stock-we've-been-here-since-Magna-Carte" English people, who probably don't marry as young anymore (much like the average non-religious American). On the other hand, you have the UK immigrants, who bring …

Your question is HIGHLY dependent on the region. I had the opportunity to travel throughout the world and I found out that women and men's views towards marriage vary so much. For example, in North America, it is quite UNCOMMON for women in their teens to get married and even more UNCOMMON to marry older men (where age difference > 10 years). Here, women marry in their late 20s, although now, it's more common to marry in their early-mid to even late 30s. When they do, they marry someone their ow…

I think the term cult fits better. Liberal progressiveness is a cult. I mean, during the January 6 debacle, liberal children were snitching on their parents because that's what the cult told them to do. And they were proud doing it. Boggles the mind, really.

Elon Musk was such an adored celebrity by the progressives ... until he opened his mouth and they decided he was awful. Now, anything he does or says is automatically awful. It's so cringey to see people almost in unison, bad mouth everything he does and says. It's exhausting. Hey can you educate some of us on why recording is a crime if it's not a single party consent state? 'cause the way it's been explained to me, is that if it's not a single party consent state and you still record someone, you just can't use it in court -- but that's the only consequence, no jail time or a crime.

Hey, so reading some of these comments, I'm not sure how useful they are: responding with passive-aggression is kind of silly, to be frank and you should only record her if she's either physically assaulting you or going on some crazy offensive rant. Some women who behave this way towards men, sometimes they like the guy but don't know how to approach him. Bullying is reserved for other women, as opposed to men. At least, in my experience, that's been the case. If you want to deal with this prob…

AFAIK, in school we were taught that making inappropriate jokes against women, was not okay, because it perpetrated negative stereotypes against women. Jokes were not okay, just as cat-calling was not okay. When some men tried to defend themselves by saying, it's just a joke, how insecure can a woman, be? Or, a joke is not going to turn everyone against men, they soon learn how wrong they were. If men must respect women, women must respect men. If not, we are back to a hypocritical time. Please.

What people fail to realize is that the "no means no" dogma is taught ONLY to boys/men but not to women. It is a very strange phenomenon, because it shows educators' internal misandrist and sexist subconscious bias towards boys/men. So, whereas a men doing this to a woman would be a no-no, the societal conditioning and downright indoctrination when women do this to men, is simply not to act, in any way. It's really fascinating but also horrifying, if you think about it.

That's it. You got it. Well said. Until the day Blacks, Whites and any other races unite against the elites, nothing will ever change. You see, long ago, poor Whites and poor Blacks were united against the elites. Then, the elites gave the Whites the illusion that they are better than the Blacks (they are not). And the Whites were dumb enough to believe what they were fed (kind of like the pro-vaxxers, today). In reality, the elites learned that by creating division between the masses, they coul…

I re-read the article and as it is now and you're right, there is no evidence. I don't know if they updated the article, but when I originally read it, it has something about colonialism and how White people colonized this and that. While White women came later, to the New World, initially European sailors were just men. I think it was bad luck to have a woman on board.

Just last month(?) there were two White college guys doing school work in the library, when they got kicked out by two girls of color, because the guys were White. Virtually NOTHING happened to those girls. Nil. Nada. They swept it under the rug and that was it. And then we wonder why racism is rising in US. Wake up America!

It's because of the rise of the simps. The ones that absolutely must feel a bond to a girl. If it's free, then they think it's worthless. You missed the point. Those are the attributes that women look for, when "selecting" a candidate: rich, good-looking, from good family, etc. Whether he's an asshole or not, is irrelevant. My point was that even having qualities that most women desire in men ... it's still not enough.

I'm pretty sure most guys don't mind, either. Now, if you're a career woman seeing men looking at a woman who breastfeeds, then that's a whole different story - we can't have, no ma'am!

Women post-30 are not as "picky" about guys, anymore, but still have decent looks/body. A couple of things to bear in mind, when going for over 30, for some 15-20 minutes of sex: Baggage: some of these women hav…

Not sure why you guys are downvoting this thread. If "good women" were more around, there wouldn't be a need for MGTOW. MGTOW is the product of shitty women, a broken legal system and all other crappy things that drew us here. There's nothing wrong with praying to find a good woman. Sure, I haven't seen a unicorn either, but if Trump can get elected when Hilary was given 99% rate of success, then, miracles can still happen!

What Ricky Gervais said, works only if you have a bank account, with lots of $$$. If you work in the corporate world and are part of management (works well with other professions, too), a silly joke will be used by others you're competing with, to throw you out. Seriously. It's like saying, I don't want to work today, so I'll just go on vacation to the tropics. Of course you can, if you don't need a job and have your private jet. But for the 99% of us, that does not apply.

Thanks. Well said. I used to be a lefty myself. I got tired of the rederick that seemed to be getting worse year in, year out, and ended up on the right. American (and Canadian) politics are becoming way too polarized and toxic. You're either one or the other. Which is sad.

COPS cancelled. Live PD is on thin ice. I'm personally conflicted about this topic. We've all done stupid things. I wouldn't want a TV show to capture the moment of my stupidity, live and then end up unemployed, shamed because of said stupidity. But, as OP pointed out, I don't watch it, because I don't want to. I never complained, just moved on.

That's why media nowadays, specifically says "anti-black racism", as opposed to just "racism." It's really stupid. Racism is racism. There is no difference between anti-white, anti-Asian, anti-black, etc. racism. When you hate someone because of the color of their skin, you're a fucking racist.

For anyone who doesn't know the back story, AK is a Serbian footballer who was a player with LA Galaxy. AK's wife made some jokes on her Instagram account, in the Serbian language about the looters/rioters. Those jokes were more like satire. Her jokes were used as justification to fire AK. I didn't find her jokes/satire to be racist. Making fun of looters/thieves shouldn't be an issue. But there's freedom of speech for you in America.

Your edit is correct. She's looking for your weak spot. Be smart. Two can play that game. Tell her that your weakness and what you find really offensive, is when women cook, clean, and are submissive to you. Tell her you find that oppressive to women and that it bothers you quite a bit (start fake trembling, a couple of tears won't hurt either). Long shot in the dark, but who knows. It may just work ;)

I went to high school with Muslims. Fear is a big element preventing girls from cheating. For starter, a good percentage are married to older men (i.e. 18F to 30M). They are also not encouraged to get post-secondary education. They have lots of kids - by the time they're in their mid-late 20s, they have 4-6 kids at a minimum. It's just a horrible situation to be in. If you think about the extreme measures he had to take, it just shows you how bad men have it.
/r/MGTOW23/05/20 02:21 AM
2

Yes, that's true. But that is not my point. Listen, men had to move out, when a divorced happened. Now, some are leaving their country they live in, to get away from the court rape. How is that fair? That's extreme. We can't keep running. All I am saying is that just the way other special groups got powerful and started lobbying the government, so can MGTOW, if it gets big enough. Don't run. Work towards change, to make life better for men, where we live.
/r/MGTOW23/05/20 02:19 AM

Of course not. That was not my point. I am just lamenting that it's horrible men now have to leave their country to avoid being destroyed by our courts. It's just awful one has to go this far!

I'm sorry, but how is the guy winning? The poor guy sold everything he built in US and moved to his old home country. In my books, that's not a win, that's a loss. It's like cutting off the nose to spite the face. I am well into my career. The thought of having to relocate to another English-speaking country to avoid paying an ex, seems insane to me. Not that I would want to pay anything, either. On the other hand, if he's close to and/or retired, then that is perfectly fine. But by the sound of…

I'm confused. Whatever happened to "women earn only 70% of how much men earn"? But yes, this will be a big issue, in the future, for women, at least in family courts. I'm referring of course, to spousal support. More women are paying alimony. Ironic, isn't it?
/r/MGTOW22/05/20 08:24 PM

Hey man, was she introduced to you, through your/her family? It's no secret that arranged marriages exist in Indian culture. It might be her mom/dad/uncles/etc. pushing her to see you. Careful where you tread. Disrespecting her (i.e. pump/dump) especially since she's saying she's a virgin (likely what she tells her family), might spell trouble for you. You don't want to get trapped in the "he disrespected her / her family's honor" route. So think it through ...

That's why this painting has so much symbolism. Where are the native men? The inference drawn is that they indeed don't matter -- which makes sense given the way the prime minister is depicted.

Correct. The old men are former prime ministers of Canada (i.e. Sir John A MacDonald - who is now considered a racist, by some Canadians) watching in horror at the current PM's actions. The accuracy of this painting to today's Canadian society is absolutely surreal! Men have become a joke there!

This guy I read about, cohabited with this woman for 7 years, both working. She was endowed $2 million from a relative. She forced the guy to sign a cohabitation agreement, where if they split, he would get $60K of the $2 million and no spousal support. He was on heavy medication when he signed it. In fact, she has complained about me to HR about the way I treat her on two occasions. Her problem is that she pissed off too many people (including those from my team). When HR investigated, not ONE person backed her up. This was confirmed to me by several other employees, in confidence. Believe it or not, she has been reprimanded after complaining about me. Go figure.
/r/MGTOW07/05/20 10:04 PM

I thought about that. I documented everything. I got HR on my side, which is comprised mostly of women, go figure. The amounts of complaints from me and other employees have pretty much sealed her fate. She knows she's on thin ice. She tried a couple of times to "talk to me in private", which I refused and asked for another management to be in the room. She was not happy. This makes me so mad. Notice that the name of the killer, was withheld? When the guy is the killer, his name and like 4 different photos of him are plastered all over the media, together with a "toxic masculinity" piece. But when, it's a woman doing the horrors, nothing. Pathetic.

Go to the police and file a report. You were threatened and need to have a record of it. Change your SSN; tell them your SSN was compromised, or whatever. If you're renting, move. Change your phone number. Often times, these fucking psychos need a "bad guy" to victimize. Skanks love white knights. You don't want to be the accidental "bad guy." You learned the hard way why you should not fuck women with kids in custody/divorce fights. I've been "offered" to meet plenty of women with children. I p…

This is a poor, shallow and not thought through attempt at attacking MGTOW. GYOW has nothing to do with Islam. As in, worship whoever you want; we're just here to GYOW. Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, etc. are free to join. One would think people would leave men going their own way, alone, since that's the whole point of this sub-reddit.

This could be interpreted as: His body language: desperate, pleading, suit that looks like he's been wearing for ages, in shock and not confident. Her body language: 1000-cock stare, fur coat, looks of a person who has never worked a day in her life, and confident. Same shit. Different century. Never forget.

What will happen, and this will happen, is that a number of these girls will be accidentally exposed, at random, by some stranger, while going shopping, walking to work, etc. Once the information gets out that she did soft-porn, she will be outed. Of course, she will put on the "I-am-a-victim" cap on, and blame/shame anyone who watches her "material" for free (i.e. if her onlyfans account gets leaked). Bottom line? A lot of these girls will lose any legitimate job, once her co-workers find out. …

That's similar to what I used to do. The old show was funny. I recall this one time, this guy wanted to impress his date and told her how he lost all this weight. She didn't care. So, he whipped out his dick and show her how big it was after the weight loss. She stormed out. That was sooo funny. Yeah, I wouldn't recommend watching the new BD. Really cringe-worthy, but if you must, you've been forewarned.

I wouldn't necessarily say that. When they run out of arguments, they start verbally abusing the person interviewing them; when that fails, they resort to violence. For example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMsi61OtkE4

Behold, the product of indoctrination. They hate men. Why? Because men are evil. Why are men evil? Because. Because why? No response. In reality, they hate men because they were taught in school to do so, by female professors, who, ironically, identify as a men, while simultaneously spewing about "male privilege."

I guess this is what happens when you go from being the centre of attention to being a nobody, as the focus shifts to the "next" young "model." I wonder if the outcome had been different, had she been taught to respect herself, aim to be part of a family, respect men, etc. As opposed to putting her body on display, only to be chewed out, once she reached a certain age. Sad.

Good point. I see what you mean. It's a case-by-case situation, I suppose. A lot of women (and men) let themselves go after they get hitched. And cheaters, well, are cheaters. Anyways, upvoted for the different angle.

This. Most women let themselves go, once they meet a good provider. One of the big red flags a man needs to know about, is when his woman still works out, and dresses to impress, despite being in a relationship. It may be that she still wants to look good for him (maybe, but unlikely) but realistically, she's still shopping around for "better" candidates. In these pics, it looks like both of them let themselves go and he's just trying to rationalize still being attracted to her. LOL

Don't listen to the others. Marry her. She makes more than you. If she decides to divorce you, she will be the one paying you alimony. The only real flag I see is the suicide attempt. If she realizes she wants to divorce you but has to pay you alimony, then she may decide to suicide you. Listen to the others. Tread carefully.

Reminds me of one particular woman, in my life. She was ready to settle down and was interested in me, once she heard I was making 3x more money than her (this is in Canada). She (thankfully) made the mistake of revealing her past to me. I ran. As far away as I could. I know the tweet is supposed to be a joke. But women like that DO exist. I met one. And thankfully dodged a bullet.

Actually, this is only partially accurate, applying to only men from a certain demographic. Other men, coming from a "different" geographic location, are not treated as such, by virtue of diversity, inclusion and tolerance. I take solace that in 20 years' time, when one group of people in Canada will far outnumber the feminists, by a factor of 5 to 1 (you know who you are, G-d bless), this will be a moot point. M
