I think that is an extremist lifestyle. I know that there are some fucked up things in there, it is a religion after all and in this case it's very hard to take out the religion aspect from the cultural aspect.
But there are many cultures where wearing burka is not required. I do not know about beatings, it's not easy to observe that as an onlooker.

Thanks very interesting. Personally l think that face covering is over the top... It will be very awkward working with someone with a burka as an example. I have no issues whatsoever with hair covered and obviously prefer decent clothing.
Sincere thanks for your comments, really an eye opener

Yes I read about this. One question? My idea is that Muslim families are more atomic and stick together with parents etc. Can this be a catalyst to keep the family values as a high priority?

I'm more interested in the way Muslim societies, or some of them managed to maintain some values. Obviously since Islam is an integral part of these counties' legislation it is difficult to draw lines.
But from what I see from the few Muslim families that I do know, women are more dedicated towards their husbands and families.
I am not interested in the religious aspect really. I have moved from religion a long time ago and that chapter is long closed
