Black guys: Preaching about sluts before anyone else knew.

[–]ManIsWalking38 points39 points40 points 8 years ago (50 children) | Copy Link

Not sure why you got the downvote, black culture is usually 10 years ahead of the rest of us in terms of social climate.

[–]knightwhosaysneet 31 points32 points33 points 8 years ago (33 children) | Copy Link

Yup. Cultural Marxism was originally tested on the Black American Population first. And this is why black birth rates are 70% to single women. Black men have been getting the Karl shaft since the 60s.

[–]ManIsWalking13 points14 points15 points 8 years ago (32 children) | Copy Link

Karl Marx was such a dick. I should probably read up on his work just to see what we are in for.

[–]knightwhosaysneet 14 points15 points16 points 8 years ago (31 children) | Copy Link

Here, I'll sum it up for you.

In order to inact a true communist state, you have to destroy every establishment that will cause the population to fight against the Communist State. These establishments are God, Family, Country. They have all but destroyed God by making the Pope out to be a Pedo, allowing Christian TV churches to exist, and shaming terms like "Merry Christmas". Top that with pushing an unproven theory like the "Big Bang" and man evolving from monkeys as an actual fact. They have destroyed the family with feminism and the "strong, independent womyn" BS along with funding this lifestyle via taxes. And they call any nationalist a Nazi and flood sovereign states with foreigners who have no loyalty to any country.

And people are wondering why we are seeing a rise in groups like Antifa within the younger generations?

[–]SekaiNoHeipo5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (23 children) | Copy Link

Wait you don't believe in evolution and The Big Bang?

[–]The_Law_of_the_Land1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The big bang, in and of itself defies the laws of physics and points to creationism

[–]knightwhosaysneet -5 points-4 points-3 points 8 years ago (21 children) | Copy Link

I believe in the possibility. I also believe in the possibility of God doing it in 7 days. Right now, I have a book dating back thousands of years that says God did it. I have nothing other than speculation and good guesses about evolution from monkeys and big bang. I do belive in micro evolution. Which is just adaptation. We have evolved mainly from selective breeding. We can see this when you look at men from just 200 years ago. His average height was something like 5'5". Now, the average height is 5'10". That's evolution. But coming from monkeys!??! Nah...that shit is dumb. I mean...why are their still monkeys? Evolutionary theory would state that the more evolve would make the less evolved go extinct, right?

[–]Freeze9510 points11 points12 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Evolutionary theory doesn't say we came from monkeys, it's a common misconception. Human beings and contemporary chimpanzees share a common ancestor, and this is well supported by DNA evidence and the fossil record. Here's a deeper explanation from the Smithsonian: http://humanorigins.si.edu/evidence/genetics

[–]knightwhosaysneet -2 points-1 points0 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Human beings and contemporary chimpanzees share a common ancestor

No. Our genetic makeup is very similar. This doesn't mean we came from a common ancestor. That is call a hypothesis. (I read your article and many others before. I have even taken an historical evolutionary theory class in college). They present facts about our genetics being "close" to monkeys with a 1.6% difference. Well, guess what? That 1.6% gives us higher intelligence, higher reasoning, different body makeup and looks. Then, they make the reach of "we might have evolved from the same monkey". Fuck that. That is a guess. A maybe. There is no proof of this. You all just lack reasoning skills and are lead to a conclusion by "scientists".

Face it. Your religion is science. Mine is God. Maybe this is why the west is going to shit. Because you worship men instead of God like you should.

[–]Freeze952 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

My intention was only to correct a fundamentally incorrect statement in your argument. You're not going to convince anyone if you make it appear you don't understand what you are debating. Evolutionary theory at no point has ever claimed we came from monkeys. That is a fact. You calling the common ancestor a monkey doesn't change the fact that it wasn't a monkey but an entirely different species, and using the correct terminology does not require you to accept the theory.

My reasoning skills are fine. I study science. I've looked at the evidence myself. I've been to labs where the fossils are studied. Accepting the Bible literally is not a demonstration of better reasoning skills, especially when Christians are extremely fractured as far as interpreting the origin of humanity.

My religion is not science. My career is science, but I have no problem as a Catholic reconciling scientific evidence with the existence of God.

Can't argue facts...so just call names. Good job buddy.

[–]expinafre 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (14 children) | Copy Link

Man, I don't want to sound rude (in fact english is not my first language), but looks like you don't know how evolution works. Check some books about it - Dawkin's books are great at explaining, for example -, and you may change your mind.

[–]knightwhosaysneet 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link

OK buddy. I just mentioned selective breeding and environmental adaptation but you are telling me to read books on evolution. SMH

[–]expinafre 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

Yes, because environmental adaptation is exactly evolution, and you have some misconceptions about it. For example, the theory of evolution doesn't say we evolved from monkeys, as you may think. I know it's not my business, but you can sound dumb saying things like that, and information is widely avaliable. Don't know what SMH means, but SMH back for you.

[–]knightwhosaysneet1 point 8 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Evolutionary scientist say that we have a common ancestry to chimps and taunt religious people by saying that we need to accept that we "could have" evolved from chimps. When they get called on their bullshit...they say "but we didn't say that". OK...sure. I guess scientist are just as bad as attorneys.

Face it dude. After hundreds of years of studying evolution and the "big bang", we are actually no closer to knowing why the human race is here. And like I said...I rather believe in something that gives me hope than something that says that we are just a series of random events with no actual meaning. And that the sole purpose of our life is to simply breed the next generation like a bunch of fucking animals.

[–]expinafre1 point 8 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I agree with you: we don't know why we are here. But the thing is: the theory of evolution is not about why, but about how. It's totally up to you to choose believing in whatever you want, but don't say evolution states that we came from monkeys or chimps... They are our cousins at best.

[–]knightwhosaysneet1 point 8 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

theory of evolution is not about why, but about how.

I respect your views but I think we can both agree that the how can dictate the why.

Like I told a guy I work with (he is an atheist who believe in evolution). I told him that if tomorrow a damn UFO landed and told us that they created us by genetically modifying monkeys and that we were a science experiment....I would just take a sip of coffee and not be one bit surprised. But until that day...I will believe that we are all here for a reason.

[–]expinafre1 point 8 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

agree again with you. The how can dictate the why, but the serious work in evolution are 100% away from that. Maybe some hardcore atheists uses wrongly the subject, and I get it... but give real science a chance. Your UFO idea would be a huge surprise for the science community, be sure.

[–]knightwhosaysneet1 point 8 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Who knows man. But when I die...and there isn't a God...I have nothing to lose. But if there is a God...I have everything to gain. You are a scientist...so wouldn't it be logical to bet on the better odds?

[–]expinafre1 point 8 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

First of all, I know a bunch of great scientists thay are reeeeally religious. They believe in God, saints and a lot of esoteric things. They don't believe fully on the bible, and of course have problems with the creation, nothing much different from a christian that don't believe on Noah's arch. About the odds... well, there are a lot of religions, so the odds of choosing one is kind of difficult looking only from statistics. Being logical, I guess it's better to be an Hindu, they have a lot more of gods.

[–]The_Law_of_the_Land1 point 8 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

False, adaptation is not evolution.

Adaptation does not lead to speciation but rather changes phenotypic expressions of an existing gene pool that aid in survival.

There's a reason why evolution is a theory, we can't actually prove anything upon which the theory rests. It's just as feasibly to say that the giant spaghetti monster in the sky created mankind as it is to say that we are a derivative of evolution.

In fact there is significant flaws in the theory of evolution but my spaghetti monster in the sky has no counter evidence lol

[–]expinafre1 point 8 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Your concept of adaptation and evolution are misleading and academically incorrect. I know from where it comes from, but that's how things are. Evolution Theory is based on evidence. You may say there are gaps and missing evidences, and that's expected, but... flaws? I'm curious about it. I will not discuss the giant spaghetti for now, but let me tell I don't think it's the same thing.

[–]The_Law_of_the_Land1 point 8 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Just stating things without saying why they're incorrect isn't becoming of a good argument. Let me demonstrate one flaw that Darwin himself inadvertently reported in his observations.

Natural Selection is conservative, not creative.

The concept of natural selection was originally developed by natural theologians, who thought that it worked to preserve distinct created types. Darwin argued that natural selection, if given enough time, could actually create new types. However, field and laboratory observations of natural selection in action confirm that it only changes the relative abundance of certain already-existing characteristics, and doesn’t create new ones. For example, Darwin observed that the average beak size of finches increased in dry years, but later observers noted that this trend reversed in wet years. This is very different than the kind of changes that would be required to transform a finch beak into some other structure or a finch into a completely different kind of animal. In other words, scientific studies of natural selection demonstrate, without exception, that Darwin was wrong.

[–]expinafre1 point 8 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Ok, I'm sorry I'm not making things clearer, but english is not my mother tongue, and as you may know, some words have subtle meaning changes over different languages, even more academical terms. I know exactly where your line of thought come from, but maybe I'll be unable to explain in a good way in english... But I'll try. Feel free to correct me. Evolution is a term for the gradient of speciation, being it phenoptic or not(i don't know how to spell it, but you know what I'm talking about). Darwin was wrong on many things, but lucky us science have advanced 100+ years from his initial thoughts. When you say it's conservative, you talk about a irredutible design, and that's simply not true. There' a famous bacteria experiment in which the "evolved" bacteria created a new way to absorb nutrients. The eye is another great example. I know it's hard to try to understand the process, but give it a chance with good will and you may be amazed.

[–]The_Law_of_the_Land1 point 8 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

That said, I don't care what you believe or if you agree or disagree with me. However, the idea that any theory is beyond question is exactly why we're in this shithole situation. The shutup and accept the crazy ass theory I've presented even though it cannot be proven one way or the other and is by virtue diametrically opposed to scientific method's way of thinking.

[–]expinafre1 point 8 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Evolution is not above questioning. In fact, it gets stronger each time it is tested. I wouldn't never say "shut up and accept". I've been going to museums and labs, studying for a long time, so it's obvious to me the hard work put behind this theory and why it's a consensus in the scientific community.

The Big Bang can be seen with a telescope. Cosmic Microwave Background. It really happened. It isn't just a theory.

Seeing a car crash doesn't mean that I've been a car crash. And believing that two atoms or specks or whatever crashed into each other auto-magically created the ever expanding universe is just as far fetched as believing that humans were created by a higher being. The difference is that one of those beliefs give a person hope that their life isn't pointless.

If a god exists, what function does it serve? If it didn't create all life and all matter and all energy, isn't it a worthless god?

To answer this, we would first have to agree on what a god is. And then, we would have to agree on what it means to exist ...e.g. you could say pain exists yet it is not something you can actually touch or see.

As for gods, some people believe in a 'man in the sky' type of thing which to me is on the same level as santa claus. For something more sophisticated, I would suggest the (Jung) archetype model. This sees the stories being retold and refined over thousands of years as metaphors for the real world. They literally evolved over time as many of the stories are from much older cultures.

For the record, I'm an atheist. Just putting this out as something to think about. Edited for clarity.
