Dull. Man's competitive instinct and drive to excel are functions of the sexual instinct. If we would have never needed to compete for mates, we'd not have become the powerhouses that we as men are. Evolution would have taken us down a more cautious path. The value of the individual man would be higher, therefor risk taking is counterproductive.

I rather enjoy having my instinct around. It can get a little... unruly sometimes. But that makes life fun.
