Sorry everyone, I would like to see that I'm not alone here. I'm a full time college student and a mother to elementary aged, and headstart aged children. I'm passing two of three classes, and I may not even be able to pass two by the end of this term. I'm feeling extremely overwhelmed and bewildered at all this. I feel I cannot do my coursework, cook, clean, do laundry and at the same time facilitate schooling at home for my children. I went back to school with a goal of climbing out of poverty and each day it seems that goal is slowly slipping away. I feel like giving up. Now, almost daily I cry because I'm sad that my children aren't at school to see their favorite teachers and freinds. Am I alone here? Without a degree I will always remain in poverty. I've tried so hard to get us out of it, I was so close, and now it's going away. It doesn't help to see people actualy think that we should turn schooling into online only. It's like people who think every parent should homeschool can't even think that some parents and families are living in poverty? How out of touch does one have to be to think schooling should remain online?
