I read about this last night, and it pissed me off to no end watching them spin the protective measures prominent men employ to safeguard themselves from the possibility of false accusations being made against them into some kind of plot to oppress women, or an indication that the man can't control his lust.

They have absolutely no idea what it is like to be a man in a world where a woman's word alone can sufficiently bring ruin to his career and life.

They're actually demonizing the only avenue of self-preservation that men have left in this social climate "because it might hurt women", and it is fucking despicable.

The writers seem unaware that powerful men usually have a rule: never be alone with a woman you aren't related to if you can help it. The opportunity for a false sexual assault claim is too great. So...an employer's time, off-the-clock or away from his place of employment, is subject to employment law? An employer should be "required", under penalty of civil liabilities, to fraternize, commiserate, or socially associate with female employees?
