Job basics: It's 1099 contractor work. You'll be a subcontractor for me. So, only one boss. We do cable walkouts for Comcast. (So they can do distribution system upgrades.) We get a map, go verify or fix the map, turn it in, and after the map is verified correct, get paid. You make your own hours. Work at your own pace.

Pay is based on performance. So, the harder you work, the more you can make. Average pace pays $20/hr (ish) starting out. As your skills and responsibilities increase so will your pay.

We work outside, walking around, with no customers, no co-workers, no office politics. We're in Houston until the summer. Then we'll move North...hopefully. We generally try to stay north in summer and south in winter.

We have to pass a basic background check and drug screening every year to renew contractor badge.
