''Despise'' suggests hatred. Their nature is vile, but they can't help themselves. I pity them while keeping my distance, but i don't despise them.

I associate "despise" with contempt more than hatred. If I find something despicable it doesn't mean I am obsessing over it in the way that hatred implies.

You are right, after looking up the definition for ''despise'', it does not suggest hatred. I was wrong.

Nah. He's just being a real dude.
No one who is secure in themselves has a problem admitting fault.
It's only those who are insecure-- trying to protect their fragile ego-- who are unable to admit fault.

Clearly not a woman. Else she'd hamster a way as to why she is right.

Looking something up when new information is suggested and then finding a fault in your own prior statement then stating "yep, was wrong. Thanks for correction!" is so rare these days. So much so I've made an extra point to state publicly when I'm wrong and have to retract a statement. I also don't delete my wrong statement so people can see the correction happening. Females find being corrected very embarrassing and make excuses for some reason while men seem to understand being wrong and gradually corrected is part of the growing/learning/bettering oneself process.
This little golden nugget right there? A phenomenon absolutely unknown to women and a key reason why I find men's reasoning and logic to always be superior.

the definition I got was "to feel contempt or a deep repugnance for"
the second synonym is hate

Man some people’s hamsters really do cartwheels to say they don’t hate something. You should hate them. Hating people forces them to think about their behavior and maybe change. If you just say “Oh that’s just who they are” then they never change and continue behaving badly.
Why do you think women behaved more back in the 50’s? Because people hated them and shamed them for bad behavior. You’re letting them off the hook the more you accept them for who they are.

Their nature is vile, but they can't help themselves.
I used to think like this, but I find it an unconvincing argument. Our nature is somewhat vile too (think about violent conquests, etc.), but we can definitely "help it." What you said takes away the agency of the female and basically makes them a victim to their own nature. They have a choice and yet they choose the easy way. It's definitely worthy of despise.

Exactly this. I really believe their sexual drives get in the way of their being people with good potential as caregivers, especially given their unique empathic skills. But throw tingles into the situation and their brains short circuit.
[–]Monsieur_Valjean8 points 7 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
Hardly a valid reason, if you ask me. Men’s brains (healthy ones at least) are bathed in high levels of testosterone, effectively making them a walking hard-on (in theory). Yet, we curbed that lust and converted it into energy for greater purposes. We never sought excuses. Neither should women.

I find women to be abhorrent, but I dont hate them.
[–]RevolutionaryPea70 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Sigh... I'd like to agree with you. I do pity them. But I have to be honest with myself: I hate them too. I don't hate the fact that they exist. I just hate being around them.

The toxicity of the female and indeed any life form is the propensity of society to encourage and reinforce its worst characteristics. The reason women are the way they are today is due to society forcing taxpayers at gunpoint to pay for a woman's mistakes.
Greater sins were done to humanity before feminism reared its ugly head. For that reason I don't hate women. I recognize the society we exist in has made her unfit to be my wife. It's just that simple.

Translated as Sex and Character elsewhere. A powerful and cautionary book (not for the snowflake-hearted, common sense-impaired or the politically correct) to be sure.

And this was written in the time when women were for the most part “well behaved”. Just imagine if they could see what’s happened in the last 20 years.

I can't despise something that is a characteristic of a species. Acceptance and indifference is the conclusion I've come to.

Meaning: only SIMPS marry women due to their ego and ignorance.
And only dominant men marry and rule the roost: cause they now how to keep their woman in line.
