Manterfering, as you well know, is another anti-woman misogynistic attitude men have toward women.

A feminist concept is the idea of "agency". In social science, agency is the capacity of individuals to act independently and to make their own free choices.

For example, telling women they can't be lesbians or work certain job is taking away their "agency" and free choices of what they want to be and do.

The opposite of "agency" is "structured". For example, assuming a woman needs help changing a tire on a car is assuming a stereotype or trope that she is incapable of doing so, and must be interfered with, when for all you know she could be the chief of the pit crew for Formula One.

Manterfering is similar to "mansplaining" in which you're making a biased assumption that a woman doesn't know what she's talking about and needs to be "corrected".

If a woman is walking down the street, and looks like she's going to walk into a sewer access power where the cover has been left off, maybe she works there. Maybe she's a supervisor giving important instructions to the crew. Do not interfere with what she's doing; don't even tell her there's an open sewer access point, just ignore what she's doing and where she's going and what may happen.

You don't know the context of the situation and are making biased based assumptions.

I have told the story of the time I saw a woman waiting in the rain for a bus on the wrong stop, which will never pick up passengers there. If I went and started bothering her and telling her where the appropriate pick up point is, that would be interfering. She might be waiting for an Uber or a friend to pick her up and using that as a meeting point, maybe she in on the spectrum and just wants to drool and stare at cars driving by. It is not my place to make assumptions of her actions, so I ignored her as to not be "creepy".

If you see a woman in a store trying to reach an item on a high shelf and she's jumping trying to get it, if you just walk over and treat her like a child by assisting her because you're taller, what are you really communicating? That she isn't supposed to work on her vertical leap? Not let her solve her own problems and have her own agency? Risk a lawsuit when you accidentally drop a Mr. Coffee on her head?

Just leave her alone. She doesn’t want you bothering her.

Do not help women. Do not assist women. Do not even warn them of impending danger. Do not let your biases interfere with the free and independent agency in her life. Do no even insult her by asking if she needs help. You're just being creepy. What do you think is going to happen? You hand her a Keurig and she drops and gives you a blow job for white knighting? Just ignore and ghost at all times. If she doesn't specifically say your name three times in succession don't even acknowledge her presence.

In fact, look at how often white knights end up getting hurt because they simply don't understand the context of the situation? They see some woman getting beaten or sexually assaulted and step in to assist, hoping for that elusive blow job and good boy points, and end up being killed or maimed for trying to manterfere with the situation while understanding nothing? For all you know it's street performance art or some silly sex game.

Another example, if empaneled on a jury to decide a woman's fate for a crime, always vote "guilty". Never vote "not guilty" even if everyone is screaming for you to do so. You don't know why she committed the crime in the first place. Maybe she is a lesbian trying to get back to her jailhouse lover, or maybe it's a strategic civil rights move to allow the filing of an appeal to affect case law, or maybe she's homeless and needs somewhere warm for the winter to stay for a few months. Always vote guilty. Who are you to determine her guilt? If she didn't want a guilty plea, why is she on trial? Why did she commit the crime in the first place? If the evidence showed her innocence she wouldn't be on trial.

Similarly, never vote for female politicians. You don't know why they're in the race. No reason to ever vote for her, it's probably counter to their interests and interfering with her agency to win on her own. Maybe she's trying to divide the tickets as a strategic move.

Women owned businesses or centric media must be considered too. When you hear of a concern marketed "by women, owned and operated for women", that wouldn't be a marketed that unless the point was, "no men allowed". So never give your money to a woman centric or owned business concern. Who are you to tell them who their customer base should be? Captain Marvel grossed over one billion dollars and was completely marketed not to men. They clearly did not need nor want men's "approval" that their media was "right" for men, it was entirely for women. Even the actors themselves were quite clear about that.

In conclusion, stop manterfering with women. For equality's sake, assuming women don't have agency in their decisions, and mansplaining to them that they're doing it "wrong", is just going to hold back all of us. They need to rise and fall on their own merits.
