The dream crumbles down.
All comics (or if you wanna see my other stuff) archived here!
When I was first introduced to MGTOW, the uselessness as well as the futility of marriage were one of the first things that got drilled into my head. So here's a comic about this very topic. Hope you enjoyed this comic! I'll come up with more soon.

Good stuff fam, I still can't understand how people can place their hopes in gamble that get riskier every year...

"I want this moment to last forever."
Women don't know what they want, and change their mind capriciously at a whim. Remember, they're only with you until something better comes along.

The important thing to remember is that when they talk about their feelings you should always add a " Right now" to the end of their sentence.
She may say she wishes the moment would last forever but what she means is " I want this moment to last forever [right now]". Those thoughts don't translate to a year from now, a week from now, hell they may not make it until tomorrow tbh.

But heaven forbid you should change your mind about whether or not you like mushrooms on your salad 10 years later.

Good advice. Something to keep in mind whenever dealing with females.
[–]fmanly2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It is retroactive too.
Today it is "I love you, I've always known in my heart that I would love you, and I'll love you forever!"
Tomorrow it is "I hate you, I've always hated you, and I'll hate you forever!"

"Men marry women with the hope they will never change. Women marry men with the hope they will change. Invariably they are both disappointed." - Albert Einstein NO RLY
As usual your comics are totally on point .

men don't understand that the sweet girl they marry becomes just like the bitchy mother-in-law they loathe. Just about every husband seems to have a "it was like a flip was switched" story and the wife no longer resembles in form or character the woman he married.
[–][deleted] 22 points23 points24 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
"it was like a flip was switched" story and the wife no longer resembles in form or character the woman he married.
Odd, got a mate who puts it exactly like that. A woman could love and adore a guy and have every intention of staying loyal and true, yet "flick the switch" and days later they could watch the same guy bleed out on the floor in front of them and they wouldn't give a hoot.
When they've decided to move on from a guy, the hamster goes into overdrive and all of a sudden he's the most obnoxious, abusive, selfish arsehole in the world.
[–]rationalthought31411 points12 points13 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
and the new boyfriend/husband is left bewildered how a guy could be such an asshole until he becomes the "new asshole" of her narrative
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It's called splitting. It's a feature of BPD.
[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This is a bitter red pill thats for sure. Women have a switch that can be tripped at any moment. They dont even realize that this switch is in their heads. For a tiny few, probably less than 10% the switch stays closed and never gets tripped. But for most the switch will eventually trip and then the hamster goes into overdrive and the woman you thought you knew is gone.
This is a red pill that really needs to be communicated to young men BEFORE they make the biggest mistake of their lives. Unfortunately this is one red pill that can only be learned thru painful experience. Very dangerous.

I hope I can upvote this a bazillion times man. This is so true, this hits right here in Asia. .
The honeymoon period for women, no matter culture, religion, etc. are always either 10 years, or after the children enters kindergarten. For example, Muslims here believe in this nonsense called "love after marriage", aka, lovk fown a stranger and hope God instills love in you. And it works......for 10 years. After those looks faded, those tits saggy, there goes the "good wife personality" and "love after marriage". You are her horse now.
And oh god.....the stereotypical old married woman here are exactly like you drawn.....add in sloppy hijabs and sloppy clothing and there you go, nightmare fuel for SE Asians until they dead.

This is a Muslim cleric saying that it is prohibited to delay marriage. Yep, you guessed it, you have to marry if you want to become a true Muslim.
Which means that you, as a Muslim men, have to accept your wife, while YOU have to change and endure barrages of nagging and yelling and demands, because it's your duty as a husband. Yes Imam, that's my duty around 600 years ago. Now, I don't want to take care of a woman with ongoing mental issues that lasts until her death, who doesn't love her husband fully, who extracts my resources endlessly whilst giving me mediocre sex. Nope.
No matter what religion, what culture, what race, AWALT. If not now, some years after marriage.

Of course men is the head of the family for us Muslims, because now the sacrifices and works and resources now have to be diverted to the wife and her selfish needs.
Muslim girls know they would not win with feminism, so they exploit Islam into their favour. Just wear veil, lock that boy, and tada, constant resources until his death. Maybe the extreme Muslims like the Arabs is kinda patriarchal. Us Asians, is no more. Some guys here are literally leashed to his wife, doing nothing except work, pray, work, and pray. No hobbies, no self-improvements, nothing.
[–]the_unseen_one3 points4 points5 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Shit, western men would be lucky to get ten years of a beautiful, loving wife before she went full AWALT.
[–][deleted] 26 points27 points28 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I agree. She wants the moment to last forever, but women seldom get what they want. If they get it they throw it away. AWALT

Men age like wine, women age like milk. Marriage speeds up the process, 10 years you say? Make that 1, now because I've seen girls in their early 20s look like that after their first child and 1 years of marriage
[–]psychobich4 points5 points6 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
yeah 10 years seem a lot. From what I heard the cheating starts just before the honeymoon phase, during and after.
[–][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Statistically that probably rates as a more "successful" marriage. Some poor schmucks start at the bottom frame and it only gets worse.

The slyest of females never even lets on, with one exception: no condom HER-"I think it'll be ok". Other than that when she hooks her feet into your lower back or wraps her legs around you while trying to yell you it's ok. Then you shall know the terror of the calculating thoughts behind those hungry eyes. Everyone stuck on trying to get laid is looking at it only from the perspective of instinctual desire. Unknowingly accepting the consequences of placating against your better judgement never ends well. It leads to uncertainty. Uncertainty leads to fear or at best foolish curiousity.

I wish it is. But as you know... men are second class citizens even though we do most of the work. Modern slavery FTW!
[–]NaiveEnthusiast0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Bro it really is modern slavery. We have to be slaves to certain things like mortgages, rent, insurance, car notes, taxes,... the list goes on, but we can cut certain ones. Women are the easiest. I’ve always been MGTOW essentially even before women were exploited. My friends said I was too quick to end relationships. I just didn’t take any bullshit. As soon as it wasn’t fun and I saw red flags, I was out.
Slavery is why I took a couple years to live at home. $60k a year. About 45 after taxes, 401k, bills, and bullshit. It’s been a year in August. Might be able to ride out another year. I DGAF. God of War is way more fun than dating. Sigrun is the only woman I need in my life atm.
Back then, when I chased tail, I feared girls would reject me.
Now. Fuck rejection. That’s like a divine intervention. I fear them because they can ruin my life completely. Yea but I agree with you so much. Modern slavery but at the very least we know we can cut one off very easily.
My goal is to be financially independent so I now have something to work towards to instead, something to keep me busy for a long time. My goal is to be as less of a slave as possible.
Anyway I hope things are going well for you.

It doesn’t get better when time passes. The pain just increases. It hurts to know that in a few years time I will be forgotten by the children I once raised and the mother will blame me for it. If I reach out to them, I face criminal charges.
[–]gifm4ster[S] 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

For me this comic isn't funny at all - it's all too fucking real. A painfully present situation.
Yea. If you've been through this, well, I hope it's getting better for you. I cannot even begin to imagine the pain that you've gone through. At least this will serve as a reminder to others.
[–]packo330 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
If its after 10 years of having his son, it is not too bad. In ten years you normally have a bond with the boy that is probably unbreakable. Lots of suffering though
Suffering seems to be a constant in life it seems. Yea but in 10 years there would still be a bond with the child so it is going to be difficult.
Wish I could be the bearer of good news but no matter where I look, it does not look pretty. Even if the couple are still together, there will still be something they are not happy about, something they have regretted, something making them wonder what it would be like if they chose a different path.
The grass seems greener on the other side until you are on the other side. Sigh... At least we can still take a step back and observe instead of experiencing it. Some of us are not so lucky.
[–]robowriter0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
That's the endgame. We know where it's going so don't bother.
Yup exactly
