As men society sees very little value in you and me. Women, today, have at their disposal thousands of guys just waiting in line ready to be there for her when they are called upon. Young, old, rich, poor, handsome, ugly, tall, short, any flavor imaginable of a man, and you can find it online. Men are left fighting one another and playing a game of chess they could never win. Maybe it's because of mans inherit, unquenchable lust, or maybe it's their desire to be better and appear more alpha then their counter parts. Either way, the dating world is an uneven playing field that weighs heavily on one side. Now, eventually, many guys find someone. Out of countless times being ghosted, ignored, rejected, mocked or straight up dumped, many men find someone. And ultimately they may settle down with them. But in the back of their mind they must realize how futile their efforts have really been: they are a hostage, now. Especially for many of us on here, we will realize that our so's have much more value to us then we do to them. But how does a man accept that? Accept the fact that society now looks down upon him and makes him some disposable commodity? Their SO could dump them in a heartbeat and find some other bag of meat with a few simple clicks online. But that is the way it goes we've been told. Men have to man up and be the go getters, putting their hearts and feels on the line so others can tear you down. But that is what is expected of you. For the betterment of society, right? I can't accept that. I can't accept that one day I will be simply a paycheck, or an attractive, toned bag of meat to someone. I am going my own way. Not because I want to, but because its the only way I feel I can live. Something is wrong with this society today. I was always told, growing up, that life wasn't fair. I refused to believe it until I saw for myself just how cruel people can be. And because of this, I now rather welcome an early grave, alone, then for one more minute, put my dignity and happiness on the line for another's amusement and advancement.
