Just look at the guy who founded the game Cards Against Humanity.

Was an SJW appeaser if not an SJW himself and he was casually accused of rape by a girl he dated in college. She was jealous of how successful he had become and casually posted on facebook something along the lines of 'people wouldn't think he's such a big deal if they knew he raped me' kinda thing.

Instead of vehemently denying it as a false rape allegation, he went into damage control mode where he denied the claims but was trying not to make it seem like he was victim blaming either so as to not piss off his SJW followers. He said he was 'sorry if his actions made it seem he intended something other than what he meant or it came across in the wrong way' (again paraphrasing from memory).

Basically he fucked himself out of a proper legal defense because he more or less admitted to something he didn't do and his followers ended up hating him for his response anyways. Fucking dumbass.
