I was passionately interested in politics before my red pilling. Now I cannot be bothered by politics. Right wing and left wing are both attached to the same corrupt bird.

It's good that you're engaged and paying attention, for sure. I'm pretty left in most of my views and would disagree with your premise that one particular party is primarily to blame. Democrats and Republicans both have their own brand of stupid, they are both debilitating, and they have both brought us to where we are today.

It's been my observation that a good deal of the talk on here is pro right pro Trump. On a sub that primarily talks about the shit sandwich we men are fed by society by a culture of feminism, that doesn't surprise me. However, it's my opinion that if I ignore all the other issues affecting us, such as environment, global warming, union busting, rich getting richer while the middle class shrinks, religious zealots, and a persistent and purposeful dishonesty from our leaders, then I'm not really going my OWN way. I'm going someone elses way, and that is completely contrary to what I'm trying to do for myself.

I say this all the time....it doesn't have to be binary. One or the other. A or B. Feminism is very harmful to our society, as is a liar for a president, and I choose neither.

As a centrist liberal, I'd like to say for the record that "liberals" are not the ones doing this, but leftist "progressives" and marxists who hate their country, borders, want NWO, globalists, etc.

Liberals care about voting rights, borders, individual sovereignty, sensible regulation of industries that actually affect you, and that kind of crap.

Conservatives use "liberal" because that's what they used in 1970 and such, when no one thought being a filthy commie was a good idea. Those leftist whackaloons were marginalized before, bow they're all over the internets and wear pussies on their hats.

I had the opposite experience. Before going mgtow I was politically conservative, but now I can't emotionally invest myself in politics or politicians.

I don't think you are alone. I wouldn't focus too much on the political aspect of your awakening. I think you are seeking what is logical and true...political views are a byproduct...not the end-all/ be-all. Your journey isn't over yet. Being MGTOW is a form of self-defense. When it comes to self-defense, you must always be vigilant in being aware of your surroundings. This means you will not stop learning and asking questions about all the shit going on around you. I'm 47. I was born and raised as a democrat. I'll spare you my entire journey, but it ends with me being a full blown anarchist. LOL!
