I class it as a 'consciousness'; that your personal sovereignty comes before everything and this can be interpreted by the individual in number of ways contingent on their personal circumstances. It is a series of websites.
It's a genre of books.
It's used to describe all manner of things.

I get the whole "make it like a secret so no one can attack it" POV, but let's not delude ourselves into trying to wall it into some unworkable mess where we cant even talk about it or describe it, with simple language around each other.
