I'm going to keep this short, but I found a rare one at where I work.

I am an assistant to a very humble surgeon. He is around his 50s. After getting to know him for a while, I noticed he is always calm, focused, and overall fun to be around. Now, most other surgeons I worked for were always egoistic, mean, stressed, and think they have it all.

I was curious to know more about this guy. One day I asked him, "Do you have any kids?" He replies, "Nope, no wife and no kids." I then asked, "Why not?" Again, he replied, "Well, my career got in the way of things, so I didn't have time for it." This man had no time for games. He scarified everything for what he loved to do.

Later, I even asked him if he had pets and he said no too. When he talks to the nurses, he just gives them tasks politely. No random jokes ever thrown around. This guy was the definition of confidence in solitude.

I was amazed. Most of the time, we know how blue-pilled some physicians are in the industry. However, this GOAT went his own way, lives alone, gets $$$, and saved himself so much trouble. This answered my question of why the surgeon was so calm too! All I can say is what a role model he is that I can look up too.
