People who don't know the meaning of words usually don't know them because they have a tiny vocabulary.

In this case they apparently thought misogyny was a standalone, instead of a combination of roots (mis = against or hate) (gyny = women)...

They probably don't know misanthropy either..

This is hilariously easy to refute.

Go to the library, find the websters third international english dictionary. It should be easy to spot, the book weighs around 50 pounds and is huge. If you are at a university library you can probably request that they bring up an older copy for you.
