I got lucky in the divorce! the ex wanted $1,000 per month, but the judge said she could get a job immediately! so no alimony! learned my lesson and dodged a bullet! happily MGTOW now!

I was worried (at first) I'd have to pay spousal support despite the fact that my ex-wife had a full time job that paid shit wages ---BY CHOICE--- and could have gotten better paying work to help support herself.

Thankfully, considering the relatively short duration of the marriage (5 years total, final year separated), and that 'no fault' divorce was a more palatable option than fighting it out in court over actual faults (like her affair), I was confident she couldn't have gotten an award for spousal support from any judge.

Split what was left of savings (wasn't much left anyway after the whole 'supported her for years' bit). She got the car but not my retirement pension. And that was it.

A year later my bank account looks healthy, I've got a new Jeep, and she's not my fucking problem anymore.

no wife just LTR but i pay for part her rent...500$ per month....since both our names on lease....at least the lease ends in december...but boy do i feel like shit to pay it
