Purplepilldebate recently had an interesting premise: Both Sides have their advantages. This is my take on it

There are problems on both sides, the fundamental issue is how society addresses them.

Example: Violent men are a known issue. Society addresses this issue from all angles: Easy support for victims. Legal framework that errs on the side of women. Harsh punishments for violent men

On the flipside we have the known issue of cheating women. It is no crime for her to keep the real father secret nor is she obliged to pay previously_received child support back. Society sanctions this by making paternity tests illegal. Indeed, whenever men are deprive of their genetic legacy and defrauded thousands of dollars, children are utilized as human shields and no negative consequence ever befalls women.
