Ever since my father committed suicide my internal battle with depression has ramped up exponentially. Before that I already had thoughts of suicide due to the separation of my parents, moving, my sisters and mom constantly arguing over everything while I stayed in my room and just listened, and the death of my grandfather. I lived through this with the help of my father who had a new girlfriend and house nearby. I would go to him on the weekends to get away from all my problems for a day or so. Don't get me wrong, these weren't visitation days. My parents weren't divorced, but were separated. This all came to a head in November 29th, 2016. The worst day of my life. I went home after staying at school to work on the yearbook, and took a nap. I woke up at around 6 or 7 or so. I don't know or care to know. I woke up to my mom hysterically crying in the hall/entrance to our apartment. From there you can basically guess what happened. Sometime in January we had a funeral for my dad. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm too weak to play sports and release my anger so all I do everyday is yell at video games. My mom and sisters get mad rightfully because they don't know why these games make me so mad. When they tell me to stop it makes me hate myself even more and the whole cycle continues. I don't want to tell my family or school what I actually feel. Simply because I don't believe anyone will care. I try to stave off my thoughts with videos to make me happy. Nothing is the same anymore. The foods and shows I enjoyed with my dad aren't as good anymore. The happy memories I have of him only bring pain and sadness. Writing this tears me up. I need help. Just anything please. I'm gonna stop writing before I break down. -Joseph
