I have a hypothesis.

I've observed that market value and power from men stems from wealth and power, accomplishments, talents, essentially, discipline that results in, well, results. Women are attracted to these things, men respect these things. These things grant social standing to the man that achieves them. Regardless of genetics, a man who applies discipline to his life to better himself, amass wealth, social standing, power, fitness, guitar skills, whatever, these things bring a man external (only you can provide internal value to yourself) value.

My hypothesis is for women, when they compete against one another, it's about who has the most drama/complications in their life. When I see women together, they're always complaining about something, and the work to have bigger complaints, and the biggest whiner has the most value among women.

How many times have you met a woman, only to hear her say, BIG SIGH followed by generic bitching. Other women will then pile on. My observation is that more attractive women have more drama in their lives, real or imagined, or manufactured, because that's how they achieve social status and standing among their peers.

I think this is why men are constantly flustered by women. Our social standing among our peers come from completely different places. Men achieve social standing with men by solving problems, applying discipline to their lives, and being stoic.

Women achieve social standing by having the most drama in their peer circle, and then they are confused when high value men they desire are exhausted trying to solve their unsolvable problems by definition.
