They have the exact same information we do but respond to it a different way. Hell mods here basicly copied and pasted the TRP sidebar because there is no need to reinvent the wheel.

If you swallow the red pill and still think the juice is worth the squeeze you become a pua. If you don't you become a mgtow.

I see lots of rosey eyed nawaltish posts and commentary there, lots of these guys will be mgtow's once the red pill digests more. Women will do that all by themselves to them and if they're lucky they'll get out unscathed.

Only way any man including them could invest lots of energy into women is if they believed their fantasy of them over the dissapointing, soul sucking truth that once you fully accept it has the effect of a bucket of ice water thrown on your crotch.

I think the psyche is adversive to the deepest ramifications of red pill knowledge and r/Theredpill to me represents the barganing phase and a community built around it where mgtow is the depression and acceptence stages.

Glad someone finally said it. If I hadn’t read it somewhere, I would never have guessed that TRP and MGTOW are related. They are diametrically opposed.

In psychology, there are two responses to cruelty - rebel or conform. MGTOW is rebellion, TRP is conformity.

To each his own, but the fundamental problem of men throughout history is their addiction to sex and the unintentional subservience that springs from it.

The truth is that women love a man that goes his own way. Someone with interests who is overflowing with personality, someone who is adventurous, etc. The most important thing that a woman subconsciously looks for in a man is the sign that he doesn’t need her psychologically. A man that is loyal to what’s right, not loyal to getting a fix from what is between her legs. Someone who will stand up for what is right, even if it means losing her love/sex. Think about the heroes in the movies. Are they chasing tail 24/7? They’re not. They’re chasing their purpose 24/7.

Kids look for you to be loyal to what is right too, not loyal to getting their love. If you need love from a woman or your children, they will sense it and have nothing but contempt for you.

In my mind, TRP is the exact same thing as a high maintenance whore, only it’s the male version.

Think about the type of girl you would be interested in if you just wanted to get laid -

Beautiful, big boobs/ass, good physique, funny, cocky, witty, exciting, mysterious, not needy, etc.

Now change big boobs/ass to big muscles and you have TRP. And if a woman is just looking to get laid, that’s what she is going to gravitate to as well.

I’m not sure I believe that hypergamy is an exclusively female trait either. You don’t think that men look to level up? I know of plenty of men who dumped their aging wife and maybe abandoned some kids because a younger, prettier woman came along and showed some interest.

Bottom line, MGTOW is pure and results in massive character growth and long term improvement. It requires some solitude and some pain at times.

TRPs claim to hate women, but their entire existence, sense of worth, and sense of approval is rooted in women and therefore dependent on them. Take the women away and what are they?

They are redpilled more precisely purplepill. They know women nature, yet their lives are resumed to develop themselves to get a STD carrier (they prefer to take the risks of a relationship). I'd say they try to develop or achieve the full potential of an Alpha male.

MGTOW is the next step when you stop improving to impress women and you do it for yourself. You throw a giant middle finger to women, manginas, simps, blue pills and white knights and seek your own needs and desires. I'd say MGTOWs are like Sigma males, bcoz we chose to be out of this pointless game and focus on ourselves.

There is common ground, and both philosophies are dedicated to exploring the nature of women, the lies of Feminism, The Narrative and so on. The difference is how that knowledge is applied to our day to day lives. For men who want to enjoy some kind of limited relationship with women, be it for sex or companionship, and can accept the risk of STD, #metoo and blowing time and money on it, well that's fine, and that's the domain of TRP. Not all of their advice is necessarily bad advice either, self-improvement like lifting, eating good, dressing well and making money are worth it for their own sakes, and not just tools to get women. I wish there were more posts there on those topics and fewer 'FR' posts from guys still in the anger phase. For the rest of us that don't want the challenge, don't want to or can't play the game, there's MGTOW.
