Started the day at the pantry getting myself a hot cup of coffee. A female coworker appeared beside me and gave me a box of chocolates. I had no idea who she was but she knew my name.

I then proceeded to open the box of chocolate and distributed it to my team and told them about what happened. Apparently I was the first guy in this department history to receive a Valentine’s Day present.

Word spread that I shared my chocolates in an hour and the other female coworkers in the other rooms were like checking me out and stuff, one of my closer female coworkers told me that I was such a man for sharing my chocolates.

However, in another room, another guy was distributing chocolates to his team but all he got was the female coworkers calling him a “try hard” and a “nerd” for doing such a thing.

TLDR: Double standards.
