Hello all, I've stumbled across this subreddit and come across some youtube videos about mgtow, then I realized there is in fact a lot of others doing the same thing. I have been my own way for quiet some time and up until this point, i honestly didnt think there was even such a term for what i was already doing.

Now my concern is, my job takes me out of the country for months at a time (im a sailor), and i have valuables left at home. This currently is not an issue since i am living in an annexed part of our original family home, hence my mother and sister are there to look after things (dad is dead). What i am concerned about is the future, my mother is not getting younger, and my sister will eventually do her own thing.

I have considered moving into an apartment complex, but i really dislike living in a box. I would like to read your thoughts on the matter, and maybe share some of your experiences as well.

Edit: By valuables, i mean collectible figures and trading cards. The thought of leaving them in a house with nobody looking out is kinda scary, since theres risk of fire, flooding, earthquakes, etc.
