Long story short: Friend invited me to meet a mentor couple they have. The groups called Asset Development team and I still have not figured out what they do. I asked if it is real estate, trading, crypto, mlm, etc. No answer yet. Went for coffee and walked in. The guy was 6’7 and 275 probably more muscle than fat, big flashy watch, nice hair, and well dressed.. He wanted to ask me questions to see if I was a fit before explaining the business. Asked me the 0 to 10 scales on ambition, am I happy with life, financial independence, corporate disposability, monotonous 9 to 5 job, etc. They gave me business skills of the 21st century to read before we do a zoom meeting. The only thing he really shared about the business itself is it’s big business instead of small business. Small business=agent or seller for Mary Kay, HerbalLife, etc. They were in the business of big business though and operated on a bigger platform. What the hell does this even mean? I’m curious just to continue to see if it’s a scheme where they want me to invest my own money, buy inventory, or recruit others. But a part of me already knows it might be a big waste of time. How would you guys proceed if you were deemed “accepted” into this group the fancy guy was sharing about?

Thanks!
