Mum has been having an affair for 20+ years.

Hi

Just a bit of background, I'm the second out of two sons in the family. I'm 21 years old, my brother being 24. Shortly after I was born my dad found out that my mum was having an affair. However my dad was working 4 jobs at the time one being full time in order to look after us, whilst my mum worked one full-time job to do the same.

My Dad decided he didn't want to get divorced, as he didn't want us to be split between parents, therefore, giving us a hard time bringing us both up. As this happened to someone else in our family and he had a seriously difficult time being brought up. My dad did not want that to happen to us. And they mutually agreed to stick together and be civil but live their 'own' lives in a way. Since this happened, they've never slept in the same room, made love with one another, or done anything that normal loving parents would do. And that's how it has been for 20 or so years, it's become the norm to my brother and I. Obviously over the years there's been many stressful times which I won't get into.

My dad simply cannot afford to move out, and he's literally brought my brother and me up by himself. I cannot stress how much effort he's put into bringing us up, I could go on forever about how much he's done for us alone. On the other hand whilst my mum's just been using him to upkeep the house, look after us and do everything that she should also be doing. Obviously me and my brother are at the age to look after our selves and have been supporting my dad through everything we can the past few years. Whilst she's lived her best life for all these years.

Too this current day the situation is the same, they are both married still and my mum is still having an affair, however with more than one guy. The whole family know's about it and have done for some years now. She's sort of been seperated from the family for many years and nobody really wants to know her. However, she will literally deny anything and everything even though we have plenty of evidence from text messages, to pictures etc.

Now it's coming up to the time where I think things are going to start to change, and my dad's dad (my grandad) is getting old and we've been caring for him for a long time now. He's got a hell of alot of money which he has earned himself and we all believe that my mum is waiting till my dad's dad passes away and fleeces my dad for the money. My brother and I have mentioned this to my dad but he's got so much going on he doesn't seem to realize or have taken anything on board. And we don't want it to get to late. So I apologize for the long story and I hope it makes my situation understandable. But I'm looking for advice and things I can tell my dad to do in order for us to not let my mum fleece my dad anymore. And make sure that when the time comes and they divorce my dad will still be able to stand on one leg. ANY suggestions or advice would be massively appreciated.
