Right, rousing yourself off the couch to protect women is totally sexist, and it's high time we reverse the roles anyways. Toss them an AK and pass the chips. Let the ladies sort it out, we can stay gaming in the basement cuz it's the safest place to be. Rooting for you ladies!!

I was in same boat, it sucks. You learn by watching others do this for themselves and for their children. Override the negative or self negating/ignoring self talk with a solid inner mentor, cheerleader, father figure, etc, or a combo of different positive encouraging mind sets. Rinse, repeat. It's awkward and hard at first but then you begin to build momentum and enjoy the change. Even caring about yourself enough to make simple positive changes in your routines (ie keeping a solid sleep schedu…

Society/family doesn't like this though... they teach/indoctrinate you to live for other's approval from a young age, so that they can get what they want from you. Mind control 101

"Please don't worry, boys. One day soon, technology will find a way to make you all completely disposable." Lol, my money is on women becoming disposable much faster than men. Delusional.

Maybe I'm just welcoming new situations a bit more difficultly than I should. Probably. It seems a common problem for many GTOW. Learn not to take yourself or life too seriously. Get super comfortable in your own skin and with your own company. And get out there! Although we may read ancient religious texts for their many/few (depending on your pov) pearls of wisdom, we're no longer tethered to these maxims. We are free to make our way in this world, creating our own morality whether based on ancient religion, cultural traditions, something entirely new or a mix of several different perspectives. As modern men, we no longer have to subordinate ourselves to ancient forms of crowd control unless we choose to.

Maybe "middle aged friends fishing/hunting" and "old guys playing chess in the park" are tropes that don't work anymore They still work, but sometimes you have to hunt for them. And quite possibly move. Depending on where you live you might have a cornucopia of choices: meetups, dojos, clubs, sports, gyms, cool volunteering opportunities, classes, etc or you might have only a few. Sometimes you have to just get yourself out there. Try to enjoy each day as its own separate adventure, and accept w…

I plan on working until very old age because I like working, get bored without challenge, and like monetizing my hobbies as much as possible. I will opt out before I become totally dependent, being treated like a giant wrinkled baby in a nursing home holds zero appeal. Spending you time being pissed does nothing. Zip, nada for you. After a certain point, spending time getting outraged can give you ulcers and indigestion, or worse, can turn you into someone bitter and unpleasant to be around. Rage is a healthy stage to go through, unhealthy place to remain stuck.

Shoot me for being the grammar police... but I think you meant service, as in "contributing to the welfare of others", vs servitude which commonly means "subjugation to a master or owner; forced labor". And speaking as a parent of a young man, nothing gives a parent greater pleasure than seeing your child create a solid life for themselves. Knowing that they will thrive when you're gone. It's vitally important to balance family time with building an independent life and solid career as well.

Huh? Why should that be a deal? If the ladies can rock dildo tupperware parties without a speck of shame, why should men sweat using a fleshlight? That would be a throw back to the bad old days when priests would warn boys that masturbating would make hair grown on their palms so that everyone (and God) could find out. Fleshlights are just masturbation tools for the technological age

I feel you, I've got asthma that's been worse than usual too. I def got paranoid about having the virus, but then it got better. And then worse again. Some things that seem to help: no dairy, eating a lot of raw veg, some fruit (basic low carb paleo) lots and lots of H20, and taking high vitamin C and magnesium. Seemed to clear my system and the symptoms fell back. Oh and getting outside for fresh air and exercise. When I slack off, my symptoms creep back. Not sure why they're so bad except I've…

The fact that your ex has physically assaulted you in the past and is still drinking and behaving chaotically leads me to think you'd be strongly advised to stop going over there. Volunteer at a shelter as a dog walker to get your dog fix for the time being. You're taking a real and unnecessary risk that she could either flip out on you or bring you down with her drama. Plus going over there everyday keeps you stuck in her life and in your past.

Yeah, potted ferns and cats make terrible care givers. Let me venture a morbid guess of the future for these people in 20 years: dormitory style old age centers, where an increasing parade of lethal "old age" viruses run rampant, free flowing opiates being offered to un/under insured seniors who are no longer able to get treatment for chronic conditions, and free community suicide centers for those elders who just can't take our Brave New World any longer.

My dude I've heard how some talk about Trump supporters..... Depending where you are, you could totally survive off grid in warmer climates with the skill set you just described. Consider also moving into an offgrid community, but vet it very very carefully. There are so many books/vids on survival strategies that you have to know how hard core you're willing to go: full on grow all your own food, hunt and hunker down out in the boonies, or make a prepper style pantry in the burbs. Twilight Zone indeed when you consider in spite of our spectacular advances in technology, we still have millions upon millions of people advocating a stone age style of civilization with polygamy, Darwinian hierarchies, and neo tribalism. People do what gets them results. From a young age women learn that acting helpless gets them results, and so they do it. From a young age men learn that acting helpless gets them scorn, so if anything they actually over-react in the opposite manner. Sums the whole thing up nicely.

Check out Pete Walker, he has great info about this issue and how to handle panic and obsessive thinking that can go with it. Are you tight with your peeps? Sometimes we get fucked up by parents who are absent, abusive or who coddle. Can all cause same thing, problem is you have to figure out how to fix it, so you don't get into obsessive loops about shitty people (or regular people) who reject you. Meditation, martial arts, hanging out with mellow friends will all help take the edge off

in reality nobody is calling women out for their abusive behaviour and even when they are.. they flop around and act like a victim. Lol, truth! I refused for years to believe that women could be anything other than light and love until the evidence became too overwhelming to ignore. Once you see how abusive many women can be, you can never unsee it. Profoundly disappointing to see so many mothers fucking up their sacred duty.

I'd recommend you find a child advocacy lawyer and try to get that money stashed into a 529 asap. I wouldn't trust your mom to do the right thing, assume she'll take it and protect yourself now. If she doesn't object to the 529 account then great, if she does then you'll have the law on your side. That life insurance money technically belongs to her, so act in your best interests now instead of waiting.

From what I could see in the older generation of women I observed and listened to, a lot of middle class and even working class women managed unsupervised free time under the guise of taking outings with their children, or had time in afternoon while preparing dinner, etc. Children back then could easily be sent to their rooms and shushed should the need arise for a bit of privacy. Not from my vantage point watching my sister, my ex and their friends get mixed up in some seriously sketchy individuals. Paraphrasing from Wiki, a bad boy is "an irresistible rogue....with a laissez faire about life and love". True but that is starting to change. In some areas 50/50 is standard and even forced. 50/50 split of assets still standard, and now increasing expectation of payment for undergraduate college expenses. Support until age 21-22 is now recommended in some states and litigation is rife.

I see global economic restructuring, and many will be on losing end. The worrying thing is how this virus might mutate into something even more lethal and how this might affect people in developing countries and areas without much infrastructure. I agree this virus has potential to decimate populations in developing countries. Poor people, old people and the sick are those most likely to die from coronavirus. If you were a consciousless fuck, this might be viewed as a good thing. Even if there w…

Good reminders, I've decided to turn huge walk in closet into bedroom/office and will then turn bedroom into studio. Also finally got serious about starting online business I've been mulling over for awhile. Super low cost startup and will keep me busy in between gigs. Side note: why the fuck do people have such huge closets? All my clothes only filled a 1/4 of it. Ended up becoming dog food storage for my giant pup

Thoughtful post, I've been wondering about the indirect fallout from this pandemic myself. There could be many more deaths not directly caused by the virus but due to financial, emotional stress, etc. I'll bet those numbers for stress related deaths are even higher, given how many avoid going to Dr. Thank you for the reminder that we need to look for opportunities to assist.

If you haven't had a solid parental role model in your life, you'll naturally latch onto people who are attentive and treat you kindly, and find it hard to let go. The only way I know to combat this tendency is to retool your inner dialogue to reflect the way you would have imagined an ideal father figure would have spoken to you. True, but sometimes you can find good deals on well developed off grid properties that are basically good to go. If your neighbors are also copacetic, it makes for a much easier transition.

Excellents questions! How far from civilization do you want to get? You can live off grid in some places and yet be a relatively short drive away from town or city. I'd add that living off grid can sometimes consume a hell of a lot of time and some of your neighbors can add to that time sink by being a pita. Choose your community with due caution and an eye to the drive times to your fav locales.

I wish that this was some sort of lame conspiracy, but unfortunately it is fact. It's an open conspiracy. Women are more easily coopted. Once AI comes fully online, there will no longer be the need for a large workforce. Feel for you. Went through something similar. Meds and therapy ended up being more curse than cure. What worked was developing an inner paternal voice, strong and benevolent. My own father was mostly absent, so I actually watched movies with solid father and son bonding, as well as observing men I admired in the community. I based my self talk on what I observed as well as Stoic philosophy. Hope that helps, know that you're not alone out there. It gets better.

Every wannabe-communist is just an asshole unhappy because he isn't at the top of the capitalist system. Aside from the few true believers, it seems like most good revolutionaries move into the evil capitalist mansions as soon as they win. And then suddenly acquire a taste for luxury. Of course they proceed to strip away human rights and nationalize industry so that they can keep their strangle hold on power forever. It's always about the power.

That's fine and dandy if you either don't have much in assets or you both have same salary/debt levels. And also if you don't have any kids. Just talking about BS in general. It used to be a normal rite of passage. But besides the PC bs, it has been crowded out by all the other stuff that kids are supposed to need on their college applications. A lot of people also consider it either too prosaic or too conservative to bother with. Unfortunately being an Eagle Scout doesn't really garner the respect it once did. And for many, BS is no longer considered a cool thing to do.

Before divorce and single moms became the norm, I think there were legit situations with men stepping to help boys whose fathers had either died, or abandoned them. It's not only that but people in general just don't feel they should make the time for scouts anymore, as competition for good colleges starts now in junior high. Being a boy scout isn't really something the universities are looking for. Club sports, science olympiad, national scholar, etc is where it's at. Can't just be normal anymore. Truth. If you have enough money, you automatically gain power. There's no escaping this reality. I watched the people in my father's retirement community grapple with finances as assisted living and nursing care is insanely expensive. And when they did it was more of a perfunctory stay an hour, take a couple photos and hightail it out of there kind of thing. Poor residents usually had far fewer visits than rich resi…

Parasites and predators come with the territory if you have some money and don't have a huge buffer of family, lawyers, etc to keep them at bay. Yep, saw this phenomenon all the time while living in suburbs. Children are often accessories to the upwardly mobile mommy yoga and cafe latte crowd. Knowing and feeling your emotions is actually healthy. Sometimes you need to think out loud to understand what's going on in your life. Problem is people often take advantage when they think they know your weakness. Women especially claim they want men to open up and then go on to eviscerate them. Having a solid confidant is a great thing if you can find one. But better to handle everything on your own if you cannot.

I suspect the real reason for this is that a lot of women want the option of quitting their jobs, or else dialing their hours waaay back once they have kids. Thank you for this well thought out post. The whole Albanian thing wasn't on my radar, sounds pretty organized. Your post makes me think of the order out of chaos paradigm . Perhaps letting the Darwinian model run amok for awhile will lead to the huddled masses begging for military intervention and greater state control. Once AI reaches singularity and can be weaponized reliably and in large enough quantities, I'd say all bets are off on how things will go for the majority of people on this plan…

Many married women solicit online and in community for orbiters. They rarely become her plan b if she decides to monkey branch. Usually they pump her up and help her through the divorce and into the arms of a Chad she's been eyeing for awhile. Some women get a real kick out of turning married men into their beta orbiters. Competition amongst women can be pretty sordid. And in other news today, hell is still hot.

I helped a friend do rescue work awhile, and most of the dogs were pitties., a lot of them surrendered for aggression. I found all but one to be super affectionate and sweet one on one. Also super cuddly. It is such a fucking travesty that people mistreat these beautiful dogs and thus giving them an undeserved bad rap. Good on you for rescuing this awesome dog and giving her a great life. I also think you're wise to be cautious with her around others. You never know with a rescue what their hot …

A bad break up can be a shock to your system as we are not biologically wired to deal with betrayal or loss easily. To reset your body and mind's equilibrium, it is sometimes necessary to stop consuming all stimulants such as alcohol, caffeine and sugar, etc and eat a very minimalistic lower carb diet of only whole nutritionally dense foods. Spend time doing things that bring you excitement and joy, such as riding motorcycles, traveling, reading great literature, playing chess, listening to musi…

My teeth are for shit and I consider it a major liability. I'm pretty obsessive about dental hygiene and low sugar diet as result. Tooth extraction and bone infection are both gnarly as fuck. I could totally see people making pilgrimages to SA if it was doable in a shtf scenario. Might have new era of crusades; this time for drugs instead of religion.

Absolute truth. Had same damn thing happen to me, albeit in good ole USA. My fault, ignored a tooth so long the infection left a hole in my upper jaw. Blinding pain, two long rounds of antibiotics, and pretty horrible extraction. Took over a year for hole to fill in right. You're not over reacting. Sounds like you need a new set of friends asap. But I'd consider keeping what you know to yourself. People often react most to the messenger and not the message. Meaning you might end up not only without a friend group, but with a group of dedicated enemies. I'd consider fading them out over a period of some weeks, and then just get too busy to hang out. Just my 2 cents as a former messenger of unwanted truth that has gotten shot a few times.

Being a Mr Nice Guy is a recipe for disaster, regardless of where you fit on the social hierarchy. In fact it will lower your status as a result of people viewing you as a chump to be taken advantage of. Leading to poorer service, loss of time and earnings, loss of promotions, paying higher prices, etc etc all "benefits" of being the nice guy. Women learned to leverage Nice Guy phenomenon a long time ago. The current change in culture and legislation have been the real game changers.

I suffered debilitating depression twice in life. Deep suicidal can't do anything for days, dark clouds following me everywhere kind of depression. Both times to do with situation involving women. I relied on junk food, alcohol, drugs to self medicate. Even did the SSRI's and therapy. Many "liberated empowered women" rely on a small army of help once they start families. Grandparents, poorly paid childcare workers, maids, gardeners, freebies from schools and for some, their still circling beta admirers. Plus many husbands now shoulder a much larger burden of childcare and household help. Even when wife is sahm or working only a day or two a week. I was stunned to see how expertly exploitative they were of others, and yet appeared totally oblivious of all the help they receive…

Had a hot neighbor befriend my wife for sole purpose of having a gossip buddy. Her fav topic? The size of her husband's dick (very small) and the fact he was short. She laughed continuously at him, talking loudly so I couldn't help but overhear. He came from prominent family, was finishing med school at top university, good looking, popular guy, but every time we saw him all we could think about was the gossip we'd heard. Worst part? There's a chasm between "mentoring" (ie basically doing her job for her, or syncing up your data to support whatever poorly executed project she has) vs actual mentoring, as in helping someone who is genuinely motivated and brings something to the table. I've seen a few senior men worked like grad students for women who did fuck all, aside from playing boss bitch in meetings. And yes, they got the promotions, and when their positions were secure with their own funding (after a decade or so of si…

Shaming someone for using a pro does not compute. A pro will be better at it and cheaper than LTR. If we're generous and say 50% of women would do better job, cause less impact on time and resources and would also provide great companionship, (Ik it's an insanely generous percentage) 50% of the time using a pro would still be a smart choice. And how is being practical and thrifty cause for shame?? As far as picking up an STD, a lot of LTR have a high risk of exposure as well.

Not yet, but a friendly suicide clinic in Switzerland may soon be able to. Thought this as well. Wearing slut wear to clubs and non-work related parties is all fine and dandy, but for chrissakes keep it out of the workplace. Talk about unfair advantage, yet I've seen quite a bit of this slutwear/workwear bs trotted out in what should be heavily focused work situations.

If the price for the mellowness of living alone is to have to die alone, it's still worth it. Besides pretty soon we'll have our 3D printed suicide pods and choice of opiates to off ourselves with. With just the press of a few buttons, in a week a little box of your rubble and ash will be dropped off by a friendly Amazon drone either on your family's doorstep or if no one wants to deal with your debris you can get dropped into the ocean. No fuss, no muss, the brave new world is upon us.

Ha ha no lie. Christ my mom would chop onions, get them cooking and then time it perfectly so that when my dad came in from 10 hour day she was in bed "exhausted". He had to either finish cooking dinner (onions were starting to burn) or get take out. Why was she exhausted you might ask? From shopping (for herself), gossiping on phone with her "friends" and watching TV. My dad and I did everything: grocery shopping, cleaning, repairs, gardening, cooking. All of it. Tough life.

Powerful AI, increased surveillance, higher living wages coupled with disappearance of many high paying jobs, PC police run amok, high level drug use becoming common. Imho, all this social engineering is being done to deliberately curtail population growth and shrink the global population significantly. I'm guessing that society won't collapse but will be increasingly Orwellian and dsytopian. Think China's current surveillance state. Hopefully I…

My good friends just want to share good times, we occasionally share deeper stuff but it's not often and they never care to hear any deep dark secrets. Some men are very very well connected and these office thots would rather try and angle to corner them into marriage while juggling their hordes of betas. In academia # metoo is just picking up steam. So it's true the departmental harem may well become a thing of the past.
/r/MGTOW11/03/19 12:37 AM

Yep cold fucking user that woman. She knew damned well she was taking advantage. Often career women have a small army looking after them and they have both beta females and males on the roster. If they want to "do it all" all the more power to them. But for many it is a total charade.

And they eat their own. My ex had to constantly fend off "independent women" who despite using a full day of low wage childcare also wanted to use their "friends" for free child care, food, entertainment, etc. A number of times she dealt with a houseful of unruly hungry kids tearing things apart. When she finally said no, "friends" just went on to the next. Not a whole lot of female solidarity going on. They use each other as much as they use men.

Yes, had to do this with my mom which really sucked. She was like your sister without the nice parts, and I couldn't take it any more My Dad just placated her, which was big part of problem. Either way I don't regret it. No more screaming banshee calls and visits filled with verbal abuse and head games

Friends and a larger community, gym buddies, work buddies, etc Just chose your closest friends very carefully. First, though, upgrade your life so you'll become the type of person you'd want to hang out with. Much easier said than done, but very worth the long effort. As far as my own experience of togetherness while being married, I honestly would rather die alone in a ditch than to have gone on with that lonely soul destroying charade. No I'm not exaggerating, that's really how bad it can ge…

Best wishes to you and your brother. It's really good that you're making the time to be there for him. If his family's consciouses ever wake up, they'll be in a world of torment that they weren't there for him

Kinda like painting a target on your back just so you can beg for attention. I'm equally mystified.

I get the formality. We did our thing in our early twenties, when you get older stakes get higher. I'm not surfing currently due to injury hoping to get back soon. Enjoy your trips! To me surfing is hands down the best sport there is

I live alone now, but did a sublet a while back that was great. Mainly it was because the other person there during day at home was this quiet guy who had room next to mine. We'd work in silence for awhile and if we needed to come out and grab something we'd just nod to each other. After a few hours we'd drift down to kitchen make food and have a great conversation for a bit and then just go back up and work some more. Best roommate. Wouldn't mind that kind of thing again. But I'm guessing it's …

Well I love being alone but doubt my great mindedness. Maybe also it's contented minds become aware of their contentedness. It's hard to feel your contentment with a person who's angry about something 24/7

Sounds pretty fucking sweet. I used to have a tribe like that, not as formal, but then a couple of us moved away It was the best, tons of road trips, mainly hung out and did dumb stuff, surfed a lot, gave each other a raft of shit. Kept me happy, humble and grounded.

And it's not just woman you have to watch for either. Flaunt your money and you'll attract all kinds of grifters. Watched my dad's friend who's a lot older flaunt his money and attracted a couple of deadbeat guys who wanted to be his "friends" . Just a couple of moochers who attached themselves like mollusks. Caused a huge headache for his family. My family lived for awhile in a very wealthy suburb. People who had money in the family for a generation or more were very discreet. Often drove old…

Maybe this is about some weird mommy issues. Some mothers degrade and humiliate their sons to such an extent, they are scarred for life. Totally programmed to take whatever shit the woman dishes out and essentially beg for more

Yes Salome. She danced for King Herod and guests, was offered any request as reward and this is what she asked for.

Haha That is exactly the interview I watched. He seemed high af, but he also appears quite prescient about AI evolution and what could happen. I haven't read the book but am planning to now. Thx for mentioning it.

Steady stream of complaints, emotional melt downs, barely contribute whether $ or convo, and want to do boring shit like shop. Check, check, check and check. Why? I just don't get it. They don't want to help plan or even drive but seem to hate the lack of control and want to spoil all your hard work by pulling it apart. Traveling alone is fun, should be even better with more. Remember going on surf trips with friends and it was almost all fun all the time.

Eating and drinking what I want, listening to whatever music I want without the running commentary about how shit metal and rap are, all that glorious silence without the tension. Having a clean tidy house without having to argue about who does what and what goes where. Did I mention the silence?

That's true. It doesn't take much to set them off. My ex had a woman in neighborhood spread a bunch of shit about her because she apparently jealous my ex became close with one of her acquaintances. She basically fucked up a bunch of close friendships with an avalanche of lies. It was hard to wrap my head around how petty her motivations were (the woman she was jealous about barely spoke with her) They are insanely dangerous and you blow off the red flags of their sketchy behavior at your peril.…

Let her fucking work at McDonald's the rest of her life then or spend it in jail. Even if it's just a token restitution, her life will be a testament to the falsely accused man's innocence and a stark deterrent to anyone else considering attempting another false allegation.

They are totally capable of driving people to suicide, I've often wondering how many suicides have been caused indirectly or even indirectly by a narcissist or their ilk. I think that once they sense their target is starting to get tired of their shit, getting burnt out or just ready to move on, they start a low key slander campaign cloaked in that fake supporting role you mentioned. They appear to approach relationships like chess games , they're always strategizing many steps ahead, trying to …

Yes, I've seen that happen too. But the higher functioning narcissists and other assorted APD's (anti social personality disordered) can keep their social functioning intact indefinitely through a strategic brown nosing of the right higher ups. Along with the perpetual cultivation of new minions combined with the precision defamation and mobbing of the used up minions being discarded, they appear to keep their social mask mostly intact despite the occasional rumors.

I read through your whole post carefully. What a complete and fucking nightmare!!! I bet dollars to donuts she's slept with someone higher up the food chain and they can't afford getting rid of her. Or else the dude has some sort of pull. It's nonsensical for them to keep putting up with their bs and all the associated costs otherwise. Looks like you've dealt with it the best you can, as far as keeping them boxed in as much as possible to protect your team. The only thing I'd add is that maybe y…

The whole divorce industry is a money making machine. There are a bunch of people geared up to handle really bad cases, and they are ready and eager to make $ off of your divorce too. And the attorneys often slough off their duty to their clients and make backroom deals with each other. And no one gives two fucks what happens to your kids. It seems like people are just eating popcorn on the sidelines and trying to figure out how to make money off the train wreck that has become your family's l…
