This happened a couple of summers ago. So, I have a friend who's in an LTR. One day several of us wanted to go chill at the lake for the day with some beer and just relax and get drunk. Weeeeell, of course his gf isn't having it because she got a promotion or something at work and she was demanding that he just sit at home twiddling his thumbs and just wait for her to get off work (he works part time while he's in school so he was off that day) because she wanted him there to celebrate. Which is understandable, but why the fuck does it matter if he goes somewhere when she's not even home?. Luckily, we managed to finally convince him to go after two hours of repeating how utterly stupid it was to miss out on a fun day with your friends for literally no reason other than some weird power trip your woman is on. I just don't get how dudes let themselves live that way.
