You should come to Canada. All old white men talking sports with maybe 1 female who covers what's going on in social media in a 1 minute segment. Fucking Don Cherry is senile and he's still getting more airtime than all women combined on Hockey Night in Canada. It's one of the last remaining traditions Canada has left.

I'm fine with female studio hosts in general. Rebecca Lowe is an excellent studio host. Suzy Kolber is very good. Michelle Beadle is growing on me when I watch NBA Countdown during the playoffs. She's been very good with whatever her daytime show is called on ESPN.

I still can't listen to women calling games or providing commentary. They lack the depth and charisma of their male counterparts; although, most male commentators are PC and becoming just as insufferable.

The biggest issue I have is discrimination has arrived for male sports studio hosts. ESPN promoting Sam Ponder over Trey Wingo as NFL Countdown host is very disappointing. Wingo has done a great job hosting numerous NFL shows for the network and more than earned the right to become Berman's successor.

All of ESPN's nonsense about hiring Ponder to boost ratings is utter bullshit. It's part of the overall SJW narrative at ESPN that is causing viewers to only tune in for games with the volume off.

They had some floozie trying to be a commentator last night and it looks like they will soon have female field umpires trying to control guys in the most popular sport in Australia. God help us.

Well, tbh I watch a lot of hockey and I feel like they are always picking the wrong women.

I know some women actually play hockey competitively (shoutout to womens US national team who recently became world champs) but they seem to always have some ditz who can hardly read off the teleprompter. At least put a woman on who plays hockey. Sure they're not as skilled at playing as even the older boys national teams (true for nearly every sport) but they lack the physical attributes (testosterone, muscle mass, agility) necessary for it, but I don't think that necessarily makes them incapable of talking about the sport.

I'm fine with women calling sports as long as they're good at it. I don't know why but it seems like networks very rarely pick women who are good at it to host or call games.

Yeah, whatever interest I had is nearly gone now, for all spectator sports. Even my alma mater Big10 football games are called by some red-headed dyke with a whiney drawl that sounds like a fucking chainsaw.

The MLB team is so fucking feminized and GLBTd up your ass it's unbearable. Remember the 40s pics of baseball stadiums filled with men and their brim hats staring at the field with intensity, maybe a dolled-up woman on his arm, with her mouth shut behaving? Now, it's fucking moms, squirming kids and fat as fuck lesbian couples taking selfies with their chocolate ice cream buckets - and shitloads of dizzy boomers that couldn't give two fucks about the game of baseball. Nearly every woman has her cell phone out, fucking around with it, including their cuckbands. The end all, goddam kids are announcing the batters for a whole fucking inning each game, with their brat-pitch voices. Get me the fuck out.

The last game we went to, we had very good seats down behind home plate like 6 rows up. And what do I get, some bitch directly behind me, and over my shoulder has a tripod and a fucking video camera perched inches from my right ear on perma-record.. Immediately had that that non-sense addressed with security the next time I went up for a beer. That fucker couldn't get down there fast enough to shut that bitch down. hehe

the catering to women in pro sports is detracting from it. but the NHL isn't known for being they most rational pro league. They're expanding into Las Vegas and not Milwaukee, Hamilton or Quebec City ffs.

Hopefully they don't go the full on retard with politics.

Yea, the female hockey talkers are pretty bad. Actually, women who talk about sports at all are pretty bad.
