I know they’re being negative towards peeps with no kids and they’re thinking that they’re happy without them but with the whole pandemic going on it probs is less stressful to not have to worry about the well being of your children.
For those who choose to be with a woman, it must be incredibly stressful to the parents to care for their newborn and even giving birth in the hospital(plus missing their birth if the dad isn’t allowed in the birthing room) all because of be virus

death rate for children without other terminal health complications is statistically indistinguishable from zero.
all the parents i know are doing fine. quite the opposite of what the childfree narrative is pushing, they're the happiest people right now because they have family to hang out with.
you do have a valid point on the hospital/birth issue though.

Im going to work and caring for our Newborn through this pandemic. It has been pretty ok so far. Mum seems to survive my 12 hrs shifts

That’s very true but it doesn’t take the pain away from losing a child from the disease, especially if the kid is a newborn with basically no immune system yet or one who has some issue like asthma or is immunocompromised in any way.
I’m sure that after the pandemic is over though that we will see an uptick in births, making that immortality happen in a more comfortable setting where both parents could at least be in the room for the birth.
