When I talk to people I do power moves with my eyes to get them off beat. This is lots of fun during business.

First, never blink. Most people blink and look around as they access different parts of their brains, so never blink, unless you see them blink.

Then they blink, they way the brain processes continuous motion vision actually snapshots the scene then continues it, so if you see them blink you can blink, when they open their eyes up, you'll already be open and you'll look like you never blinked. If they turn away, or their eyes go up to the left or right accessing memories, blink then, then go back to staring.

This is fun because it makes you appear either intently listening, or very powerful. That's why most male actors won't blink on camera to appear more powerful in heavy scenes.

Second, since you're not blinking and the conversation is probably stupid, stare in their opposite eye, this will also throw them, because everyone in conversation tends to look at the "correct" eye, so switch over to the other eye, this will usually come across as odd to them but they won't know why.

When that gets boring and they blink or switch away, perform a jump cut. Jump cuts are a film technique to make a scene jarring and unnatural. But you do it with your eyes.

So when they go for their blink or turn away, you do your blink (or not) but shift your eyes from their wrong eye, to the center of their eyebrows like you're looking at their "third eye".

All they know during the conversation is that you never appear to move, which makes them want to move, your eyes never blink, making them blink for you, and your gaze slightly jumps around every time they come back to you, but they can't tell what it is.

This can have very fun results with coworkers, friends, whoever. I mean, most conversations are boring, but they generally think that either you're really listening to them, or they're feeling strange emotions but they don't know why. It can be very powerful, because you either are still as a statue, or if you want to adjust now and then it'll appear you are in motion but your eyes never waiver, which also can be fun to start throwing up hand slights, like holding their gaze, and doing minor things like moving a pen from one hand to another, but they don't notice at the time. They just know the environment around them is disjointed around them.

Anyhoo, all sorts of fun psychological games you can play with someone. Who cares what they think of you anyway? Scary? Meh. Good. Keeps them from getting ideas.

Or "creepy". "Creepy" was used a LOT.

You're right though. Ignoring them gives them "narcissistic injury" and hence why they use such labels as "creepy"; as if to say "how dare this guy not give me attention and boost my ego".

There's a girl at my gym who is a BIG time attention whore (asking guys to spot her). She has a big ass so guys give her lots of attention. She also has a bf, but she cheats on him with some of the guys at the gym. The only reason her and I spoke was because she started talking to me. Whenever she would see me she would approach me.

Anyways, last week she tried talking to me and I gave her a simple hey and went about my business. This week she's been ignoring me. She will pass by me and not talk to me. Today she passed by me three times and didn't say anything. She would also workout out near me. I ignored her as well, but I could tell she was bothered.
