Every man that plans to go into service needs to ignore and toss the idea of ever planning a relationship with a woman. It’s a fruitless endeavour that only ends in pain.

This is very true.

I will never forget that scene in JarHead where the main character gets a tape from his wife (while he's out on deployment) and then plays it in front of his whole battalion..... If I were to ever join the service I would marry someone that I didn't have feelings for just to get the separation allowance. IF ITS EVEN WORTH IT. I don't know much about being in the military but I know damn well I would never trust a bih while I was overseas..

Or never trust a bitch ever..

Once I had a coworker that before being deployed told his "sweetheart" that he wouldn't blame her if she cheated while he was gone.
😮 🤡

Former Navy guy here.
I got a story for you.
Storytime:
So I was standing watch one day on my ship (USS Iwo Jima LHD-7). Watch is basically guard duty except you are walking around taking readings on equipment rather than guarding something. On one of my roves I heard a cry in the distance and I go to see what it is. One of the newer recruits who checked into my command was in a crouched position sitting down crying his eyes out. Next to him I see a belt hanging in a loop on an overhead pipe with a chair at the bottom of it. This man was about ready to hang him self. I realized what was going on and went to go talk to him to see what was wrong. The recruit begins to tell me the situation. Apparently what happened was his high school sweetheart who was his wife at the time was cheating on him behind his back while he was at sea, cleaned out his bank account (both had a joint account together), wanted a divorce, took the house and the family dog.
Later I reported the incident to my chain of command and that recruit ended up going on suicide watch, would later transfer from my ship and possibly get medically discharged.
How fucked up is that?
This kid who's 19 years old who's already dealing with the intense stress of the military now has to deal with this nonsense.
Getting into any relationship in the military is the worst decision you can possibly make.
Reasons:
-Makes you vulnerable and second guess your decisions.
-Your mind isn't in a forward thinking mindset.
-Your mind isn't focused on the tasks at hand either.
-An army, air force or fleet is only as strong as the person next to them.
etc.
That incident was one of my first red pill moments when I served in the military (U.S Navy).

Back in the days the military was backed by the idea or the illusion of a family back home. If the man was not married, most were not because they were too young, they at least knew they were fighting for a society with more or less fair rules and the women they were defending in that war were loyal. This has been the single best motivator of armies since times immemorable, the backbone of the army is a just society that values men and the warrior. Defending the nation, defending the women of a country and the family. Im saying this and im not even a tradcon.
Right now its totally pointless to go to the military, unless you are looking after money, there is no honor really in fighting an enemy that perhaps have more of a reason to fight than you. And if you want money there are better things a man can do.
I think most men that buy into the military route these days are brainwashed and too young. The dont know anything yet.

That all depends how you spend your time and the job you end up doing. Most jobs (60%) are support roles and not combat roles. My reasons for joining the military were simple it was to pay for college, to save up a bunch of money, to pick up useful job skills I can apply in the real world and to travel. I’m in a way better financial situation than most of my college peers because navy pays for my school, pays me to go to school, I don’t have any debt, my credit score is 770 (took the time to build it) and I’ve saved over $20,000+ in my time served. My finances now are above $30,000 in savings, I have a part time job 24 hours/week (weld shop on campus: majoring in welding technology), live home rent free while going to school and I live like a minimalist keeping my expenses low/savings high. My work ethic is through the roof. (Working a part time job, school full time, practicing a lot of hours in welding, work out 6 times/week. I’m always doing something productive.) I’ve met some of my most loyal friends through the military. I’ve traveled to many countries. Now I’ll be graduated next year with an Associate’s Degree (Welding Technology), joining a Union (California where I live), save a bunch of money, etc. Life is good. Though I do agree that the military has lost its way and that ages under 21 are way too young to be joining the military. I joined at 23 in 2013. Got out at 27 in 2017. Now I’m almost 30. Sometimes in life you have to dance 💃 with the devil 😈 to get what you want. Whether you like it or not.

The thing is you figured out everything before going to the navy or while you were there figured out what to do next, right ? Most of these guys either have a bad single parent household or they wanna play GI-JOE, why ? Because of the GOD COUNTRY FAMILY BS WHICH THEY GREW UP WITH. They have not figured that out , now silently military advocates to get married, we all know what happens next.

Thanks for your service and the story. She could have at least left him the dog. Unreal.

I'd go John wick on her ass. Idc if you torture me to your hearts content. You hurt my pets and all bets are off. I'll make you wish you were in Auschwitz instead.
Most women get away with adventurism everytime because they know nothing is gonna happen to them.

Yes. Jodie is very very busy and sometimes doesn't even wait for deployment and some fucking PFC 10 months in on a deployment is happy his wife is 3 months pregnant with THEIR kid.
Leaving the women alone is especially important during military service unless you enjoy getting fucked, cucked and coming home to zero deployment money.
[–]Gulleygrim13 points14 points15 points 6 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
As someone who just got out the military, these posts are true. NEVER get in a relationship when in the military. NEVER trust civilian women or military women. Two basic rules for anyone joining the military.
[–]TheLastMgtow1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
So if thats the case. What is the point of joining the military? Its almost like you better just desert with the weapons and fight against the government that is fucking up men that way? I wonder why the moral of western armies is so low, to the point they need to hire mercenaries and proxy armies to fight a bunch of ill equiped dirty starving middle easterns.
If not for money then whats the point? And there are better ways to get money? Joining the military normally requires some stoic thinking. But perhaps that has been replaced by brainwashing or whatever. At some point men join the other side, its not that far away. The pay might not be high, the conditions might be terrible but there is honor and value.
[–]Channel_oreo5 points6 points7 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
GI bill, VA benefits(free healthcare for real), retirement pay, disability pay. More or less if you have no more option in life just join the military. Men who are really in a bad situation and living in poverty military can help.
[–]Gulleygrim1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Honestly, the military is becoming a lot more PC. A lot of people join because it’s the only way to be financially stable and get out of a bad situation. Also, serving your country, even though they shit on men in return. If men stopped joining the military in America and left it to women, then you might as well just tell Russia and China to come on over. Interesting story though, I was up for an early promotion and had mad experience under my belt for a while. I lost my promotion to a female who loaded an M249 SAW with the rounds facing TOWARDS HER. She tried to rack the fucking rounds, too. Literally ignored the whole “brass to grass, links to sky” military training that reminded us of how to load the weapon. Later on that day, she lost the M249 because she forgot to put the mount on top of the HUMVEE AND LOCK IT IN. She got in no trouble and got the early promotion over me. The day they sent out texts to make sure to congratulate her, no one messaged her. I got messages instead from men and WOMEN saying, “hey Q (what people called me cuz they couldn’t pronounce my last name), you should have gotten that promotion.”
[–]TheLastMgtow0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Thats a shame bro. I would be telling them they shouldnt promote that bitch over you, or i would desert to the taliban. And if i desert, they lose their best fighter. What a bunch of sad cucks.
Regarding the rest. I think if men stopped joining the military the leadership and the elites would quickly shit in their pants and completely go back a few steps on their bullshit. They would at least make some tweaks to make men join again. Thats what would happen. The only reason things are this way right now is because, 1. Men keep joining the military even though the total bullshit society has become. And 2. There are no domestic opposition and little international threats, we live in a time of relative peace. And 3. Men are divided, distracted with entertainment and the elites know whatever shit they push on us, we are not going to do anything, we will keep fighting some ragheads in the desert and think of ourselves as heroes.

They are cucked. The only difference with the rest of married men, is that they are more keenly aware of it.

Had a guy in my unit who fell for the chick who worked at the taco bell on base. We all told him (he was pretty fresh) to not get serious with her. Well he didn't listen and kept sticking it, next thing you know he is all like "hey guys I'm getting married, she is pregnant". Right after he married her, he was back and all sad, he told us that she introduced him to her 4 other kids (she told him she had none and he was her first), all from 4 different fathers. Don't know how that ended, but I can take a guess, I got out about a month later, those fuckers weren't sending me back to Iraq.
[–]SlainFunicle3 points4 points5 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I always wonder why military guy marry at all they are away majority of the time.
[–]notreallyme7623 points4 points5 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Knew a guy that had been married 10+ years, 3 kids with his wife. He was on his third deployment in Iraq. While he was gone, his wife starts banging some brand new private that was getting kicked out. She gets pregnant, leaves her husband. Doesn’t tell him shit. He came home to an empty house and had to spend 2 months tracking her down, just to see his kids. He still got destroyed during the divorce. Shit ain’t right.

The US military is such a sick joke. Young, good-hearted men (usually) sign up for something they think is honorable to just be a cog in a brutal machine that’s cares about nothing other than obtaining more power and resources regardless of the costs.
I’m not a leftist either. Everyone should be critical of what a joke the US military is. They want all these illegals to join it too because they’re dumb as rocks and think the US is something that it isn’t.
.......... every veteran's wife or gf cheats on them when they are only in the boot camp and they even do surprise visits to tell you that ," ITS OVER".
Just imagine when a guy has to do a physically and mentally challenged job .
And boy o boy...... don't even get me started with CUNTS in the military, they are just their to showoff their badges and uniform and saying to themselves ," See ! I broke the glass ceiling and now i am walking with the BIG DOGS".
Every woman in the military generally speaking (except some 4 or 5% of women who just buzz off when any war happens and suddenly gets infected with the baby rabies and gets preggo by an idiot down the block) are generally useless except for female body searches, they are not good for anything, apart from being a nurse or a cook or sucking cocks.
Every woman in the military shows up in her uniform everywhere, i don't see guys getting all dressed up in that uniform all the time apart from giving surprises to their wives getting fucked by 10 other men in an amateur porn video.
While women wear it all the time, to flaunt that what they have accomplished something on thwir own.
NO BITCH, you didn't sign up for selective services , did ya ??
I would advise any young teenager or young guy in his 20s to not join the military. Hey if you wanna do something adventurous its fine. Apart from that you should get a real estate or a CPA or something of that kind. Do not go fucking in the military. Even if you want to army or marines is cool , but not the chair force or navy (unless you are an engineer for the poseidon class submarine).
For those who have retired from the chair force they eventually learn how to fly commercial jets, get licenses for that and serve as a helicopter or a private jet pilot after serving for more than 25 years in the air force.
Unless and until you just don't wanna make kicking doors as your hobby and coming home to an empty house and PTSD and VA hospitals who cannot treat your injuries, you need to stop playing soldier and educate yourselves.
If someone wanna be a badass, leran martial arts in shaolin temple in china. Atleast make that as your passion, you could atleast defend yourself against a bigger and stronger adversary, if you want.
Our professor Tom Leykis always said that and people rejected it in the name of GOD COUNTRY FAMILY BS WHICH WE GREW UP WITH.

Maybe it's because I'm new, but how are you going your own way here?
[–]justanotherdude1121 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
It's more of just an example of what not going your own way can lead to
[–]ViZoy0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Everyone has their own way tho, this doesn't always have to be the outcome. Idk I guess I just like the posts of guys going out into the wilderness and experiencing that rather than sad stuff like this.
