Having worked several customer-facing service positions I can tell you right now that upwards of 90% of your problem customers are always going to be women. Sometimes they'll even fuck up a transaction they didn't take part in. Just wait until you lose a $600 commission because a wife makes a husband return a large ticket item you sold him and she won't even let you attempt to try to build value with her. Men are about getting whatever item they need. A lot of women are about the 'shopping experience' and want the satisfaction of making other humans 'serve' them in as debasing a way as they can get away with. Or 'retail therapy' where they drop $1000+ on shit they're gonna return in a week after using for a bit. (Prestige-priced clothing, anyone?)

Anyways, just be friendly, professional and stick to store policy and you'll be fine. Get your floor sup or other manager involved with the really shitty customers. They're the ones paid to deal with the assholes.

Also, your multinational company with an excess of $22B in annual sales doesn't give you fraud detection pens or UV scanner lights at your tills so you can take $100s? Bizarre. Newer bills with the identification strip+multicolor ink+hologram you should be able to verify even without those tools.

Worked as a rep for many years. Almost all men would at very least exchange a business card, but some women, mostly middle aged were the rudest people you'd ever meet. Also worked at a jobs agency, women would never fucking answer their phone, men always answered their phone. One morning I had a temp job to fill, I rang 43 women and not one answered. Out of that 43, 3 rang back, but the next day. Women are fucking useless to the point where they barely help themselves.

Bruv, it's absolutely true. Women waste so much time shopping or bitching. If they didn't act the way they did everyone's day would go so much smoother, including theirs. But no, a bitch they must be because that is how they got their way as a kid, teen, young adult, and were never corrected otherwise.

the reason to work in a local cafe vs. a Starbucks is no middle aged women. they're atrocious. young women are polite. old women are polite.

but 35-50, holy fucking shit. god forbid a Starbucks is out of their favorite syrup. and you can sure as fuck expect them to bitterly triple check that their soymilk lattes are made with soy milk and not regular milk

most guys wont even correct a plainly wrong order unless it was watered down or cold. if i order a triple shot latte and get an americano, its done. we are squared, i should have known better than to buy that expensive drink anyways

Everyone has to earn money. The absolute worst way to earn it. Is through retail food service.

Look for any type of employment where you don't interact with the public (entitled women). Your stress will decrease substantially. I wasted 5+ years being abused by the types of women you describe. In retail food service.

Yup! It doesn't matter where you work, the "Can I speak to your manager" shit always comes from entitled women.

If you fuck up an order, the men joke some shit about how you messed up and its funny. Women act like you beat their child and belittle you. And post to FB about how their day was ruined over a drink order.
