It is not unreasonable to think about it. I think in the next 10 to 15 years, we will see devices that can communicate with a human brain directly. It is not unreasonable to think that sooner or later it will be possible to check if somebody is telling the truth or not. Imagine how impact such a thing would have on the world.

If you could make a device that can tell you with 99.999% probability that somebody is lying, then the world as we know would cease to exist. For example - no more false rape accusing. The court would have an easy job and the law would be perfectly executed.

In day to day life I would not like to use such a device, but for law purpose? Actually, I think that every fucking time when somebody is accusing somebody of something, that person should be tested on polygraph even now.

Also mobile fast and cheap DNA tests. It would be a game changer. No more cucking.
