Just got back from my local Snooker club (little bit tipsy 😂) and I overheard some guys playing on the next table talking about their wives and relationships. One of them openly admitted that he was with his wife for 20 years before he married her, and the only reason she married him was because she was worried about not having her own pension, so she needed to guarantee access to his pension via marriage. From what I gathered, the guy seemed to have no problem with this.

Why on Earth would a man want to set himself up like that?
