You know that scene at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark where they lock the ark up in a warehouse because it's too destructive to let into the wrong hands? Something similar will happen with female nature in a couple generations. It's happened before, and it'll happen again. The cycle goes something like:

Patriarchy -> Prosperity -> Feminism -> Downfall -> Resurgence of religion to control the destructive female nature.

Look throughout history and literature and you'll see that female nature has been figured out and exposed many times: Adam & Eve, Pandora's Box, the Sirens, the Koran, the Iliad, sayings like "you are the rock and she is the storm," etc...

It's all over the Bible:

For the lips of a strange woman drop honey, and her mouth is smoother than oil. But in the end she is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword [...] Her ways are unstable and she knoweth it not.

...

For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life.

...

Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings.

I for one am glad to be alive at this point in the cycle: the Renaissance where we're keenly aware of the truth.
