Women are always victims, even if they're not really victims. There's a few good one that point out the wage gap is a farce though.

Because if you do math the feminist way (averaging all men vs all women not taking into account the actual fucking job), it shows women making less on average. Which means women getting more free things.

most females i've worked with, after a time period, quit, retire, leave for motherhood or just don't want to work anymore..

though i continued to work.. hence in the long run, i made more than these females.. while they tanned, played, vacationed, enjoyed themselves..

though then they step up and claim, i made more money than they did and this is somehow sexist..

..and arguing the other way, well they didn't want to contribute and work.. nope, that's male sexism, as well..

Why equal work for equal pay. If you negotiated a better salary than your coworker, why should you be published.

An employers job is to pay you just enough money so you don't quit and go to another job. Your job is to ask for enough money that your employer doesn't decide to get rid of you in favor for someone else.

When I was an employee (I have my own source of passive income now so I don't really work) I was extremely aggressive in asking for pay raises. Not many people can say they had their pay tripled at the same company in a period of 18 months. I can. I went from being dead average compensation with everyone else to the only people making more than me (besides the c suite) were the highly specialized PhD holding super genius specialists the company relied on that have been doing what they do since before I was born.

I was aggressive in asking for pay increases. I knew the value I brought to the company. I even walked out twice saying figure out something for more compensation or let me get my resignation ready. I don't give 2 week notices.

Why does it matter if the average of all men and women is the same or not?

It does't. Given the number or people working and the different individual choices each make there is no way it could somehow balance out and be perfectly equal. if you adjust for things like women dropping out of the workforce to raise children the gap significantly declines, and a you mentioned, fair pay laws give women the ability to seek legal remedy if they feel they have been treated unfairly.

The "pay gap" is one of the few remaining popular ideas that propel the idea that American women are still oppressed in our society.
