That community is tight knit and for a game as big as such they have an obligation to keep their affiliated subs clean of hurtful rhetoric no matter how truthful it is. Thave to maintain their image because it affects the only thing that is important which is money.

Tencent owns riot and reddit btw and any comment regarding trans and the streamer are getting nuked. I watched remelia a few time and didnt know that that streamer was a dude until I saw it on 4chan a day after the news of her death. That's how tightly they are monitoring the situation.

That's the problem with PC culture, it's more of a posture than a real attempt to fix things. While there are people that are genuinely transphobic (just take a look at gendercritical, it's outright disgusting), in your case it wasn't that much about hate and actively attacking them, which makes it quite different, but rather (although one could argue that the wording probably wasn't great) about the problems this situation brings when it comes to competition, which are a very real thing that have to be recognized and can pretty much be abused by anyone. Even non-trans people.

I guess they rapid-fired when they saw the "they are not women" part and degeneration in the same post without caring about the second part of the post, which is where its real meat is; the degeneration is the fact that biological difference matters (something most trans people with a brain and not into victimization would aknowledge, since it's a big part of the problem) but eh, who cares about that, right? I know that personally I'm not against trans people in any way, but I still keep a distinction when it comes to this kind of competition, for practical reasons and because it's an open door to cheating otherwise. But the moment they read "not women" it's over (which doesn't surprise me that much when you see how their fellow leftists are tbh)
