This stat is kind of skewed. The divorce rate is high because the same people are getting divorced over and over again. Most people get married and stay because divorce is too expensive. I've been married to the same woman (and her various personalities) for over 20 years. I'm unhappy but divorce really isn't in the cards.

Divorce =/= failure. I think this sub has it right. Get married young, do the kids & then the divorce thing before your established, then by 35 youve been redpilled & free to GYOW

Humorists/comedians need to feel the pain in their own lives to be able to produce good material for their shows (best humor comes from people making fun of their own misadventures). Some of them are tortured souls, like Robin Williams or Lenny Bruce (they committed suicide). And getting married is just a first step to go down to hell.

Even with four "incidences" as a skydiver with 500 jumps, I must say that skydiving has brought me way less pain than marriage & child. In fact, skydiving has helped with my mental health while dealing with said marriage & child.
