Alright everybody,

I may be MGTOW, but I still like to get laid sometimes when a girl offers it up. I am interested in getting a vasectomy firstly because it would be morally irresponsible for me to help bring a child into this world without a loving family (and I am morally opposed to abortion) and secondly because I REALLY want the peace of mind that comes with knowing that I cannot get baby trapped and my genetic material is under my control. I understand that there are risks and sometimes complications, and I am willing to accept those risks for the sake of those two reasons.

Obviously I will not tell anyone about it and it will be my secret. Also, I will continue using condoms for the foreseeable future to prevent STIs.

What advice/pointers can you guys give me to make the experience better and minimize any risks or complications? I am in no rush to do the procedure, but some old FWB are circling back around for some fun times, and it would be nice to at least have it scheduled by the end of the year. It might be a nice little New Year's present to myself.

I am willing to travel interstate within the U.S. to get the procedure done at the best and most affordable locations, and international travel to some countries is on the table, but I am more cautious about it.
