Before men had more control over relationships. Especially when the women were at home. I remember from Mad Men Betty had a "moment" with the young air conditioning salesman. Don flipped his shit when she mentioned she had the salesman in the house. Don knows female nature, he knows what can happen when you leave a woman alone with a certain kind of man. Now we have women working in offices wearing their tight clothing and make-up and high heels (because they're "empowered") and working side-by-side with men. It's a terrible situation if you are concerned about fidelity in a marriage.

If women are really empowered then they should take off the make-up and high heels and wear pantsuits like the men have to. Then it's not about masculine or feminine it's about how good you are at your job.

Feminists have always been hypocrites. They wanted to be judged on their merits but they also want to be able to show off their bodies and sexuality. If you want to be treated like a man then dress like one.

Women in the workplace affect fidelity both ways. In the 60s when single women worked and tended to leave the work force when they got married, it was the married men who were tempted by the women they worked with. Now the reverse is true, as married women continue their careers they bang their co-workers like married men used to back in the day.

I'm not saying we have to go back to the way it was in the 60s (although I do think women and men were happier). I'm saying that the status quo is untenable. With more economic equality between the sexes there is no reason for divorce laws to punish men. Maintenance should be outlawed (the premise is absurd anyway) and there should be a presumption for 50/50 custody. That means no child support.

It's clear to me that feminism has completely turned the tables on men and we need a dramatic change in the law to correct it. Or we have to stop getting married because that's what enslaves us to our exes and gives them complete freedom from responsibility.
