I don't like the stereotypical ridicule of cat ladies. First because it's disrespectful to animals, and second because I love dogs, and as a single guy, the same criticism/stereotype could be turned on me. I'd rather MGTOW not bash single people who love their animals, but I guess this is a stereotype that is convenient to bash because it targets women. I'd rather they leave it alone. Animals are a great source of comfort and companionship for men going their own way.

Cats are a woman’s pet. Perfect for lazy, unmotivated people. A woman can sit her ass on the couch all day while scrolling through Facebook endlessly and doesn’t have to give the cat a dang second. Men are better for dogs. Dogs are just better pets in general, their loyal, they’ll go camping with you, they’ll talk to you, they’ll never leave your side. Cats are like walking home decorations.

I always have cats. I love them. Cats require low maintenance and are excellent for single men living in an apartment and/or working full time. I love dogs too but I never have one because of my life style. This "cats-are-for-women" and "dogs-are-for-men" are just bulllshit. They are all companion animals that require our love and care.
